  1. I googled a little and size 4 hooks are 12mm long Calculating from the pic, they are 16mm long
  2. Good point! But the washers on the inside woud be rattling around, I think.
  3. Actually, I don't know. I unpacked it, admired the the handiwork, and stowed it away
  4. The look like small ducklings. :-) once the action figures are out, there might be a market for them.
  5. I'm afraid they will be required when I finally finish the armors :-)
  6. Lol. Thanks The reason I ask is because I got a TD from TM years ago and the clips are riveted. I wouldn't know how to change that :-)
  7. I was wondering if the black wood screws on the TD are mandatory for Centurion, because there's a close up of them in every Centurion application. Thanks!
  8. Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together....
  9. Great work on the helmet! Minga is a super Stodt! (Munich is a beautiful city).
  10. Contact your local garrison. I'm sure there is some armor party
  11. Sorry, I can't follow you there, I think. How about secureing the straight edge on the HIPS with clamps, score it a few times, then line it up with the edge of the table, and pull hard? Then take a sanding block and smooth the cut line out Edit: If this kit has TE lineage, you will find that the left forearm/biceps a quite differently shaped and much smaller
  12. 2 tips: 1. To cut the cover strips, just score the ABS with an x-acto and a straight edge and snap them off. Clean, straight cut 2. Order a set of new forearms from CAP. You are going to have a hard time making them wider.
  13. Pop rivet head on the inside, with washer. Makes sense when you rivet elastic. So there must be a washer on the other side Pop rivet head on the outside
  14. Thanks, these were the pics I was looking for! But the were only riveted to the faceplate, so you can't seem them with the ears removed.
  15. Looking good! How did you attach the chin straps? IIRC, they were rivited to the helmet on the originals
  16. Thanks, I was wondering the same. I even planned on riveting some brackets on the kidney plate itself, like on the original RS suit.
  17. 1.Don't save on rubber. Cheap silicone breaks down after a few casts 2. Clay. That depends. Soft silicone if you have undercuts
  18. I like the hand guards! My 6 year old nephew wants to be a stormtrooper, too. Maybe I'll build one for him, too.
  19. Yes, mustard. The Boba Fetts use it on their helmets! Your helmet looks great!
