  1. sorry, no such threads allowed here. You have to contact sellers yourself. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  2. Use the "For sale" forum, but WTB: armor and/or helmet threads are not allowed here
  3. Please guys, you can't never ever judge a color from a pic. It is simply not possible. Too many factors to be considered.
  4. @andy19422 Awesome! That chevron would fit nicely in my living room
  5. IIRC correctly, some suits for ANH and ESB were repainted. Automotive paint works best; use a good primer and sand for better grip.
  6. I like this sci fi movie "Apollo 13" with Tom Hanks (I'm sure someone will get that)
  7. "42" I watch almost everything sci fi; very fond of Trek in all incarnations; but I never knew what to make out of The Doctor. Oh, And Stargate: Universe sucked! Too bad they cancelled Terra Nova, aswell
  8. Stefan, look at your post count. You're evil! Thanks for the help! Too bad Riveting stopped making these. I'd make them if I could sew.

  10. Awesome! As for weathering: Coffee and tea works wonders! There's a thread at Club Obi Wan about how to weather those Raider's (Lost Ark) sand bags. It could works for a Tusken Raider aswell.
  11. Jimmy, this is the so called "hero" neck seal. It was indeed tied around the waist. Thanks for the pic! there has been some attempts in the past, but such a clothing item is rather pricey to produce- This project still is on! I needed to halt it a little, as my kitchen and bathroom get renovated in the past few weeks, but there'll be some updates soon!
  12. Just an idea: Build an awesome pristine armor, and then...beat the heck out of it! Kick it around, throw it to the ground, sit on it,etc! Then use some white gaffer's tape to fix it et voila! Authentic Tantive IV! Piece of cake! You just need the courage to abuse a TM.... Edit: No worries ,mi amigo!
  13. I'll be watching this thread with great interest! Good luck!
  14. According to AA, they used "those little tin cans". Back in '76, there wasn't much around except Humbrol. And very few shades of grey and blue,
  15. That is an interesting topic. Maybe we could start a new subsection for every country.
  16. Thanks! There's no need for "shameless" plugs But you're right. They are a LOT smaller than the FX ones, and because of the flexibility more comfyand safer (no hard corner sor edges)
