  1. Do you know if they do Biker Scout boots? If not can someone point/shove me in the right direction please? Gray
  2. ok, I just emailed 'Kropserkele - http://www.kropserkel.com/imperial.htm with a request for a 'stunt' Biker Blaster, I hope they'll do it for me..... Oh, can anyone tell me if the biker blaster has an official name like the E-11 stormtrooper blaster? cheers Gray
  3. Can someone get him to message me ASAP please?
  4. G'day, I have the chance to pick up a Hasbro or Kenner (I think) Biker Blaster for approx $80 in good condition. Is it worth it at this price? I would as in bikerscout.com but I'm finding the site hard to navagate so I thought I'd ask here. Also, are there many events happening around that once I'm kitted up I can attend? I worry because of my eyesight (I only have 10% vision & am classed as legally blind, which ics whyI dont do Living History very much as I cant partake in 'combat' with my bad eyes. Thanks Comrads Gray
  5. Well I'm thinking of being a scout for a few reasons; It HAS to be cheaper to be kitted out, I have fought hand to hand in plate armour in my old hobby & know what a pain it is to be wearing (even plastic) armour all day, there is no way constable Plod will mistake my Biker blaster (name?) for a real pistol. Also I think it would be funny to have a sight impared 'scout' lol Wish me luck comrades :-)
  6. Hey all Just wondering how hard it would be to get some biker scout gear? I'm thinking of going that direction & have looked at a few sites (I never pick a cheap hobby do i? Lol) & would apreciate any help, especially any vendors who take Ammex (not paypal, the Aussie version wont take Ammex) Im still going to converty my Hasbro E-11 but will need a different blaster for Mr Scout. Any & all help is apreciated, Thanks guys Gray
  7. Dave, Thanks mate, I am a licensed shoot & have been for over 20 years & a re-enactor (Living History) as well. I know how hard it is to get a commisioners permit for these type's of replica's. The WWI Anzac group I started 12-15 years go actually has a permit for a WWI Lewis Gun but the hoops needed to be jumped through are horrific ( including having a lock up brick armoury & yeah our Lewis Gun doesnt have any moving parts. I was very curious as to how you all go about importing 'E-11s' (if thats possible) or does everyone make/convert them here? I will read that thread, thanks Dave. I'm on the Mid-North coast,(Wingham, near Taree), so please feel free to get in touch with me as I'm all alone out here & would love to catch up with some of you sometime :-) Gray
  8. Ok, Serious question here. Do we need a special permit to have/own an E-11 Blaster? I only ask because I know it was modeled on the Stirling Sub-machine gun & the similarities are VERY obvious. I live in NSW Australia where gun-laws are very Draconian & I dont want to get into trouble with the police & I'd ask the 'firearms registry' but for them its always a case of "when in doubt, say NO!" so I thought someone here might have a clue :-) Thanks chaps & Chapettes :-) Gray
  9. Thanks Funky, Thats the kind of advice I'm looking for. I spent 30 years doing Living History as a hobby so I hate not getting it right. Pitt about the helmet but hey all is not lost as I'm going to take my time collecting 'kit' & might try my hand at making PVC E-11's (any kit suggestions?) & if I can do that I might be able to 'finance' my new interest without copping a shelacking from the wife lol Thanks Funky Oh is anyone else having trouble with the iphone app? It wont take my username or password or either.... Cheers Troopers
  10. G'day everyone, It would seem I've been a 'closet' stormtrooper since 1978 (I think) when all the other kids in my class were screaming support for the Rebel Alliance, all I wanted to do was get my hands on an E-11 & go to town. I was 10 then, my feelings havent changed but I'm 44 now ;-) Now the other day I bought an EFX (ANH) Stormtrooper helmet for $199AUD + a Hasbro 1996 E-11 that I will convert (with only 10% vision laft after a recent stroke it would seem I like a challenge lol)! It would seem to me that I have the begginings of a Stormtrooper 'kit' (oh dear - my wife will KILL me lol) Can anyone tell me if I got a good deal on the EFX helmet ($199.99AUD) & the soon to be converted Hasbro E-11 ($54USD)? Please be honest as if I didnt do well I'd rather improve than 'plod' along with sub standard gear. Oh, this has nothing to do with anything much but when I was in the Army Reserve here in Australia, one of the weapons I was trained on was...... The Stirling that everyone seems to love lol! Damn awful machine guns (bloody inacurate) but FUN to fire lol Hope to hear back from you guys soon Gray :-)
