  1. So, thinking about adjusting my sds holster to centurion. I might need a bit of help on this as I don't really know how high up the screws should be or how long the straps should be. I've got tan leather and chicago screws already I know that I first need to remove the looping straps but the rest I need help with. (PS. I haven't really gotten a proper response on how my butt strapping looks like, please inform me if it's something else I should do or if it's fine?)
  2. Butt problem fixed...? I tried to make some plastic tabs like @gmrhodes13 mentioned, but they didn't come out any good. So I used a car heater to bend the butt a little and shortened the elastics by around half. It can't get much better than this: With belt:
  3. So here we go! It fits MUCH better and tighter now with shortened chest strap! Also much smaller neck area!
  4. Hopefully I will be done by around easter, thank you for all your support! Hope you're doing well!
  5. Today I tried to adjust the shouldr straps. I removed a couple of cm from the chest and took everything off and an again. The neck area should be smaller now, will check tomorrow.
  6. More photos! I shortened the back to kidney straps and it looks better to me This is also the most the shins could come down, the shoes I got with the armor ARE a bit big. I will have to use thick socks later. I also tried to drag the thighs down some cm: I know they are a bit uneven in these photos but try to go after the right one with the ammo pack. I pulled them evenly later. Also something I have realized is that my neck area may be to big, the shoulder straps are too far from the chest I took a look at some references and all of them are more closed up i.e:
  7. Yeah, that is what I was thinking. I believe the straps for the chest/posterior and kidney/back may need a bit of tweaking.
  8. Here we have it with shoes on: Although it may look like it, the back top of the thighs actually don't klank against the butt plate and I can't hear anything except maybe the knees. I will fix that with padding later though. I do have one problem I think, the back to kidney strapping. I feel like tightening that would let my shoulders sit closer to the armor
  9. I will check later today, it's pretty easy to adjust them as they are held up with velcro
  10. Testfit for the legs! Thoughts?
  11. I will be using velcro for these straps so I can modify them more when putting them on the belt I have.
  12. Thigh strapping on way!
  13. Pictures of the helmet before I do anything with it: SDS do love their velcro... Thing I know I need to do: -Replace decals with paintjob -Switch out the ears to proper hero ones -Insert the frown mesh -Padding -Glue the lenses Something else I have missed?
  14. Yeah, I seem to have just not pulled the forearm enough down and I hadn't pulled on the gloves enough either as I use inner gloves as they are XL size (it's also less sweaty) so it was hard to feel that. Some new pictures:
  15. Test fitting today as almost all strapping is done! How does it look?
  16. It's going slow, but surely.
  17. Did some strapping today: It's going slow, but the strapping is almost all done! Right now I just need a belt to hold up the thighs.
  18. I miss Coruscant, they just kinda left it after TCW. Fortunatly we have the last season on the horizon!
  19. I like Pyre, there are not that many troopers who are main antagonists in many canon star wars stories. Those roles are mainly reserved for officers (not troopers), dark siders and the like. The only other troopers I get in mind are Phasma, SCAR Squadron and maybe Agent Terex?
  20. Here the gloves are! Should I maybe glue more so they stick more at the sides?
  21. Got my handguards from Joseph today, they are really nice! I hope they will stick as I'm getting low on E6000, will post pictures when they are dried.
  22. It looks to me like they have a bit different paintjob on the shins and the stripes seems a little thinner than that of the CRL.
  23. Today I glued on the straps for bells and shoulders. I also unfortunatly realized the straps between the biceps and forearms were a little long. I have been following builds like ukswraths and got confused by the measurements, I'm still not used to inches. So intead of around one fourth of an inch I had one inch and one fourth of one inch. Not sure how I thought there? Now it should be right anyway. Now also a question: how are the bicep to bell strap done? Where should they stay?
  24. I hope you will have a great time building this, the DLT is a beautiful blaster! Here is a prayer for your sanding fingers! I hope someday to get my own, but I will settle with the SDS E-11 for now
