So... Progress? I have started with the biceps and taken them apart, the stuff that they used as glue might be stronger than the plastic itself! Tips on how to assemble them? Should I do same as with the forearms? Also here is how they came out: Left And right I also rounded out the edges of the covering strips

Update: I haven't had much time so far working with the armor, my brothers' birthday party is now on sunday. (And jedi fallen order released, it has some nice troopers!) Atleast the forearms are done (may need padding since I have pretty thin arms.)

@Helotech Dave, I have taken care of everything that you mentioned, it's actually just the stuff we have talked about that's missing i.e leather strips, aluminum strips e.t.c. I have ordered everything else and I have no problem finding velcro, thanks!

Soon are the forearms complete, did the right one today Now I have glued on the first two covering strips for both arms Left: And right: Also my cloth belt finally arrived! Soon I can start with it!

Today I trimmed the edges of the forearm as by Josephs advice. Came out pretty nice I think. Then I took away the pesky returning edge by the wrists I think the left forearm is finally finished cutting! I have started with the other arm, that overlap is a PAIN to take off. (Thanks, by the way Dave with giving me instructions.) That will have to do it today, I have a free day tomorrow so I will hopefully make some more progress!

First day of cutting! Left forearm is pretty done I think? Well... except the ruturn edge at the wrist. It's 15 mm between the marked return edges. How does it look? Acceptable? By the way, this is my workstation: A bit cramped, but it is sufficient.

Update: I have removed all excess glue residue and washed the pieces afterwards Have also bought a dremel, brushes and more knifes.

Dave, you have been a very good support and you shouldn't rush with the package, take the time you need. Just offering the info on what you did to your armor is enough as it is. That you offer to send parts is going above and beyond! I am truly grateful!

Does anyone know the best way to make covering strips?

That's a good way of doing it Dave! Update, the remainder of my packages should be here soon, trouble at the post offices i believe. Will hopefully start cutting and sizing by the weekend.

Finally done with that! How big should the covering strips be as SDS only does overlap on everything except the front of the leg pieces?

Baby steps... Planning of making the wrap to covering strips, won't work with the belt until the cloth belt has arrived. So now the next thing I guess is pulling off the poppers that exists on nearly all pieces

Sooo, update. First real one, I guess. I have started with pulling of all the velcro that came with the armor, it was a lot! My thumbs really got a beating Anyway, I think I need something to remove the glue residue, will look into that. I think the next thing to do will be looking into removing the plastic wrap around from the belt Does anyone have a good idea for taking of the screws that is holding it together?

Hmmmm... I may have forgotten to buy chicagoscrews... Curse my memory!

Update, my package from Trooperbay has arrived! With it includes: -3 tubes of E6000 glue -Humbrol paint -Frownscreen -Snap fastener (with snaps) -20 magnets -4 clamps -Black nylon strapping -White elastic band -Flexible hand guards -D-ring for blaster -Helmet masking templates -A helmet bag Unfortunally they were out of brushes, oh well. I can buy those somewhere else. I am still waiting for -Brackets from MrNoStripes -Cloth belt from ImperialIssue Planning on starting tomorrow with what I have, wish me luck!

Yeah, I think I just need to wait for everything now.
