  1. thanks for the pointers, issue is fixed now.
  2. Had the unfortunate bad luck that 2 of the screws at the bottom of the chest plate decided to disappear while trooping and can't find the size used by RS here. Need to get some replacements locally since i got another troop in 2 weeks and for that i need the siziing information
  3. Most of imgur is mirrored at the wayback machine (including any link that was visible here without being logged in). Context:
  4. Most of us ordered before brexit though where the situation was entirely different.
  5. Good thing on the old images here: the guys at archiveteam.org are already tracking down as much as they can (they got all links from here that can be seen without logging in). seems like the only way to win is paid hosting :(. i switched to hosting on own server since a while already (computer nerd and for us a server and a domain are useful for quite a few things)
  6. Just a heads up: Imgur changed its ToS and isn't usable as a reliable long-term hoster due to that. We need to give a new recommendation on a reliable imagehost now to avoid getting photobucketed again. For current images: they should end up on archive.org (there is a group of archivists which hunts endangered data and currently works on archiving as much imgur as they can find, they got the URLs from here) so we don't end up with a full loss like with the old photobucket deletion.
  7. https://imgurinc.com/tos Imgur is going to be unreliable, too on old content... Another potential breakage inbound.
  8. was referring for the current pictures existing so those could be secured against another loss by having them at least mirrored on archive.org so if another run of recovery has to be done we got a source.
  9. Could you do some admin-voodoo and extract a list of all picture-links on the public-accessible threads? that way i could pass them over to some archivists (those behind archiveteam.org , they hate link rot with a passion) that can run that list to save those to archive.org. otherwise some thread parsing is needed...
  10. you got "sniped" by the latest news. there is a changing room arrangement now for celebration.
  11. Except in the UK since they messed something up back then. that country is the safe haven for manufacturing due to the messup copyright-wise. (see the well known shepperton case that got hammered in by the highest UK court)
  12. It already paid off once that they don't display the original suit. their showroom got wiped out by a fire (1 or 2 years ago iirc). the important casts and original armor survived due to being stored off-site. as a IT-guy says: off-site backups are always recommended.
  13. Hijacking this thread since its current, too: Any plans for a detachment group pic at Celebration? there is a recent thread on the 501st forums: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=249&t=112007
  14. That wart reminds me of the well known RS wart though. SOmehow confused how a different source can have the bump, too.
