4205, basically same as all, take your time. The eyes if not cut out can be tricky. he rivets a lot of pieces, I went with ABS and hot glue for a lot of it. 6 Screws for the rest. He has some cool tips on his site, but I must say to trim the ears a Tad to make the fit better. he leaves enough flashing to do this. also, squre the back as best as possible. I know alot of these are basics, so I guess, the kit is almost as easy to work with as an FX. Hope that helps. Boozel

hyperdyne board w/mic- 150 ( from HyperLabs, possibly cheaper used) radio shack amp - 12 2 fans - 10 each so around 182 the aeratorsetup I have now are screen accurate cast w/speakers $34 a set the ones prior were sink aerators with speakers I purchased for $10 so my set up now, to buy: $216 (plus boxes I moded, got them for 4 bucks) prior: $192 I cheated though. I the ebayer I got the armor off of didnt know what he had, and threw in the Hyper board for free. he never had the stuff out of the box. He purchased it from a guy who made a fan film, still in kit form. 500 total is what I paid wiring wasnt hard, but kinda know what you are doing(basic circuts) positioning is the big thing. amp and board fan setup -
From what I have seen, Altmans is very off from any other trooper bucket out there. not worht it if you are buying just a bucket. I have an RT on FX armor, I love it. I wouldnt mind having an AP, but $$$ for now(christmas and new RT armor) is a bit tight for costuming. my $.02

Deployment Standards - ANH - Beta 2
Boozel replied to Daetrin's topic in FISD Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) Requirements
everything is firm, except I think the holster would take even more priority over the canvas belt. Reason being, even to the average viewer, you can plainly see the holster is not looped over, bt attached behind. With the canvas belt, it would take serious viewers to see what it was made of. I know there was and still are troopers who have no clue what type of material it is, but most know about the holster. my $.02 other than that, SOLID!! . I think this is a great list for troopers to referance. Boozel -

Armor Transportation and Storage

Well, I dug out my bag, it is a little smaller than this one, but evrything fits including 2 blasters, tool box, bucket(seperate compartment) and boots(side compartments for skates) tonight will be the second time I used it. first was the HBO event, worked great, and I can still sling it over the shoulder. for the ears, where th face plate and back come together, there is an overlap. where the cap covers this, trim a little off the top where the overlap sits. it makes for less gaps.

I cut mine, and recomend it. you can cover both front and back with the belt, but in ANH you can see the back was cut,and was actually "below" the belt. I am doing this with my next set also. Boozel

AWESOME to put it simply. I wish I had a site like this to referance, get multiple suggestions rather than just the one that was repeated. Truely something that was needed, I am happy to just be a part of it. way to go guys... Boozel

I was trying to think of a way to get more sound out of my speakers for big events ie lots of noise. I have aerator speakers, hyperdyne and amp in bucket, and didnt want something I had to do away with something for. so this is what I came up with: 2" flat speakers. I built a frame about 1/2" tall, and put corners on the one side of it, put whit velcro over it. I wired them "inline".I then packed the back with foam to cut down on feedback, and put white velcro over that. the "open" side sits against the back of the chest plate with velcro for easy removal. I then tapped into my main lines coming from the amp to the aerator speakers and put in wire connectors inline. put the male ends on the chest speaker ends. when I plug it in, I still get sound from the aerator speakers and a TON more from the chest. I can crank the volume with no difficulties. I will tuck the wire under my neckseal, and bundle into bucket. Let me know what ya think, good idea or no so good. Boozel

I use an Under armor knock off called Aeroline fittness gear. I got it from my local Dunham's Sports store. It was around 12.00 for the shirt, and 19.00 for the pants. It has held up actually way better than I expected it to. Here is the link to their nationl site: Dunham"s Sports I just found out it is not available online...oh well. I will be making a trip soon to there to get another set. Hope that helps someone Boozel
