  1. Lower edge of bicep? I thought the strap went around the top of the bicep? Close to the arm pit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I like the idea of suspenders, seems like it might be comfortable wearing them and less stress on the shoulders. Is that why you did it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ok. Daughter was sick from school today (she’s better now, rough night for us all) so while she slept I did laundry and worked on the shoulders. Comments welcome (and expected). Was a little hard getting pics myself so that is why there are two front shots, so each arm can lay flat. Just a reminder because there a lot of threads on here. Originally I was dinged for the shoulders being too far back and not close enough to the shoulder straps and biceps were too low. Then I got dinged for the shoulders being too forward, and I forgot to hook my biceps so they were a mess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Big day!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Get ready for some fun. Enjoy and congrats, welcome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hate torturing her with taking pics lol. The thighs are as high as they’ll go. My thighs are big and I couldn’t get the tops any bigger. I’ve got two different straps on them to try and get them higher. High tension Velcro and Pencaps system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks. I’ll have to have the wife read up on this too when we take the next set of photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ok I see the crookedness on the arm. Saw that after the fact. My wife takes the pics she’s got not idea but I should have looked closer before sending and getting out of it all. As for the legs. Your lines look like they are straight down. The CRL shows the thighs starting slightly off to the outside. That’s what’s throwing me off a bit, not completely but a bit. Should I make them straighter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Here is the back photo Left side Right side I already addressed the biceps. I didn’t have them on properly. They weren’t on the hooks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks. Just depressing. I took off of work a lot during December to get this done before the new year to get approved for a February troop, I really wanted to do. Now I’m dealing with these stupid shoulders and I was told that he noticed that on a brief glance and I’ll get the final review in two weeks. Plus when I took the pics I didn’t have my damn biceps hooked on right either (that’s my fault for not reviewing the pics well enough). Then due to elections in February I can’t get approved until March. Just need to rant and yell a little. I’ve had great interactions here but dealing with the Garrison has left me defeated. Still gonna go and help at the troop in February so I’m sure things will be different. Ahhhhhh!!!! Ok little better now... thanks... So you think I should leave the right side, and just try and reposition the left? It’s noticeable from the side shot it’s definitely crooked. Just not sure how to fix it. They are both attached at basically the same spot, I would have assumed they would align properly. Maybe my shoulders are crooked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Anyone want to buy armor? Apparently my shoulders went from too far back to too far forward... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Attempt #2 submissions sent today. Fingers crossed, cause if this fails I’m selling everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Case closed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Don’t think the CRL says anything about strap color but it’s pictured in a tan leather so I’m assuming that’s what they want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. I thought I saw somewhere somebody glued the snaps to a small 1” ABS plastic plate, and then glued the other side of the plate to the ABS directly- so it acted as a barrier of protection.....could this/is this advised? Any of the gurus want to weigh in here??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Not a guru here but I glued all my snaps to a scrap piece of plastic then glued that to the armor. I’ve got different armor but I had no issues. I’ve checked the snaps and they don’t appear to be reacting to the glue. Most of them I used a different glue with because it stuck better but some have e6000. I thought it would be helpful in snapping everything with an extra little bit of space. Also I’ve had no issues with magnet discoloration but wrapping them be helpful. I’m wondering if environment has anything to do with it, like humidity and temp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So I made some bicep hooks. Boiling water for a few minutes and they bent right up for me. Plus repositioned the biceps so hopefully that all helps with the bicep issue. Trimmed about an inch off the bottom of the shins to make them shorter as requested and I used a modified lazy man stirrup to help keep them straight. Elastic with mitten clips to hold on to the front hook. Hopefully it works. Looked good when I tried it. Added an extra snap to help pull the shoulders forward. I was advised to trim the back of the shoulders because they were too big and hit the back plate. I’m thinking by rolling them forward they will sit nicer back there so I’m gonna hold off on that. Already fixed the brow on the helmet And painted the ends of the brow Did some touch up to the helmet when painting so I’ve got some clean up to do on that. New belt is in the mail so hopefully I can get that done this weekend and get approval submission pics vol 2 submitted by Sunday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I was a bit peeved about some of the things and how this whole thing is going down with my Garrison. I’ve looked through tons of submissions here and found ones who were centurion with issues they said I need to correct. But what am I gonna do, it’s their call at this point. 21. I’ll do that. After cutting the shins smaller I found a small “gouge” probably from the lack of sanding but none the less I’d rather deal with it now and prevent it further. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Does anybody put anything on the bottom of the shins to help protect the boots? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I’d say if it’s comfortable and not way too big (which it doesn’t look like) then leave it as is. Or drink and eat a lot so it’ll fit better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Awesome, clean out the freezer ice cream for everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
