Official meme business: Is anyone seeing broken images on posts? Asking because @Morgi was seeing some from my posts. I couldn't see the memes from @Tall_Trooper earlier in the week but see them now. I'm trying to get some data so I know to host memes myself or if imgflip is still working.

I would absolutely replace them. Those colors are very different.

Definitely the darker options. People didn't even realize it was a red undersuit when the show aired. It's very very dark red.

I've tried them all and Tony's really is the best. The little helmet speakers just sound *right*. They're a bit quiet for a large outdoor troop, so I reach for the chest mounted TRamp for those, but the @ukswrath set can't be beat for any other environment. https://ukswrathsspeciality.etsy.com/listing/525718278

That looks really nice! Very smooth yet with pleasant imperfections.

Gun Rack for Blasters with some modifications
revlimiter replied to T-Jay's topic in General Weapons Discussion
Oh my gosh. I just thought this thread was bumped. I didn't expect fresh content. Let alone content like THIS!!!! Incredible work Tino. Just incredible. I mean, the 2019 version was already mind blowing... This is perfection. -
August almost passed without a meme.

Looking good!! However, I believe the kama is still too bright and too red. I've worked on some reference photos. The night sisters gowns are the same red as the night trooper's ribbons. Enoch's kama is a LOT darker. This image is brightened from the original screen cap. The material is a very dark brown and the edging is just barely a brighter red. I tried to darken your image to match a bit better. Notice that your edging is much closer to the night sister gown than to Enoch's. Here's an image with the light source hitting the kama. I also brightened this image from the screen cap. Note how the kama material barely reflects the light. It is very very matte finish. It also appears to be a rather similar color to Morgan's top. The red ribbons on the trooper behind are also quite a lot brighter than Enoch's edges. And one more comparison. I got a lot closer in the color correction on your photo this time. I also added a screen cap from Morgan's fight with Ahsoka when she was outside and better lit. Do you think that darkening your kama and dulling the finish would be possible? I think the coloring on that one piece is the only big difference between the screen used armor and yours.

Andrew found ONE instance of grey shoulder straps. This boy at the top of the page who also had the grey repair sections in his bucket. He's quite the unique trooper. The grey straps match the chest so nice that I didn't even realize what I was seeing. White would have really stuck out on him. So that gives us grey hand plates AND grey shoulder straps. But at least no kintsugi shoulders. Shoulder Straps They may be affixed with Velcro or adhesive. Light to medium weathering as per references. No gold cracking (kintsugi) on the shoulder straps is present. The shoulder straps can be white or gray as per reference's. Builder's discretion on how this composition looks is allowable. Red wrapping may be added, as per references if desired. Red wrappings fold under the strap edge. It is suggested to only wrap one shoulder strap with red ribbons. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): These shall be inserted behind the chest tabs and into slots of the backplate. Hand Plates Roughly pentagonal in shape, the hand plates are mounted securely over the back of the glove. As an alternative to plastic, these may be made out of latex or latex-like material. Light to medium weathering as per references. Hand plates may contain the gold cracking (Kintsugi) effect. Paint pens or hand painted cracking to the surface is allowable. Hand plates can be white or gray, or have grey repaired sections as per reference's. Builder's discretion on how this composition looks is allowable. The cracking designs are up to the builder's discretion, as there are multiple references to work off. Red wrapping may be added, as per references if desired. Red wrappings continue around the glove. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Hand guards shall be made of plastic. Cracking (Kintsugi) effect, must be created using a Dremel or similar tool into the surface, gold colored paint or paint pens can be used to fill in the cracking. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Hand guards should follow the correct RO shape, ANH hand guards are not acceptable. A small indent in the front of the hand plate shall be present. Gold imitation leaf must be used for any patching and filling of cracks. Real gold leaf can be used but is not a requirement. ------------------------------ Can/should the CRL have a line like "It is suggested"? Trying to suggest a certain look without forcing a builder to do an exact thing seems hard to word.

Captain Enoch Voice Changer!
revlimiter replied to Itssobreezy's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
It may be the Zoom Multistomp? A lot of folks use that for Vader voice changing. It takes a ton of tweaking and work, but you can make your voice sound greatly different. Enoch should definitely be possible. https://zoomcorp.com/en/us/multi-effects/multistomp-pedals/ms-50g/ This little guy. A video demonstrating it for Vader. -

If they were grey on screen, they may look like they were missing. I've yet to find a reference with a grey shoulder strap. I bet one exists, but I would also bet that it would be CGI. Kintsugi also seems to not exist on these. On the hand guards, I haven't found any grey there either. Seems logical that a grey one could appear "missing" on screen and ruin the armor look, so LFL spec'd them to all be white. But they all seem to have kintsugi on them.
