  1. Good progress on those legs! And really nice stools haha - do you know where they got them from?
  2. Hey there! I'm a bit late but happy BBB!! Great work so far, keep it up!
  3. Good progress mate!
  4. Looking great! That's a huge imporvement! Good job!
  5. Once the paint has dried a bit, it usually goes pretty well removing it with a toothpick. Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  6. Ooh I see... zap-a-gap and zip kicker is way harder to remove than E-6000! Are you usually using E-6000 for the rest of your armor? If not, you could always be safer using it if you want! ^^ Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  7. It's not that bad mate! Paint-wise, the helmets used for the movies were far from perfect too! Your painting is not that bad - keep up the good work, your build is going well overall. Once your helmet will be finished, I'm sure you'll be happy of the result overall! And you can always do some touch ups with the paint if you want! Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  8. Hey! Congrats on your pucharse; I guess you can't wait to receive your kit! I'll be following your build! Feel free to ask any questions you might have - we're here to help!
  9. What tools do you actually have for setting your snaps? And what happened to your shin? Post a picture if you're having trouble repairing it - I'm sure someone will be able to help you! ^^ Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  10. Also, I know it's still early in the process, but try to do your fitment tests while wearing your undersuit as much as possible, as it can sometimes influence how things will end up looking/feeling/fitting in the end. On another note, RS suits are awesome - can't wait to see this!
  11. Congratulations on your approval mate!!
  12. Hello and congratulations on your BBB ! Have fun building your kit and don't hesitate to ask any question you might have!
  13. Hi there and grats on your first kit! Take your time and you'll see, everything will end up so great! Just ask any question you might have along the way - we are always happy to help!
  14. Great job, especially on the back pieces - no gap is what looks the best! For the snaps, it can be hard at the start - it took me a little while before I got it right and easily every time. But along the way, I realized that the tools you use can make hige a difference (at least for me) - some go so much better than others. Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  15. No worries mate, thanks a lot for the comment! Oh yea, I already have had a few troops up to now and many more are booked in the weeks to come. Can't wait - everything went so well up to now! ^^ I am really happy to be part of this, and also happy to be able to help the people around here as well! Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  16. Congratulations and welcome!
  17. Having used both, I think I honestly found the cap rivets harder to install. Split rivets don't have anything to be scared of; they do a great job and they are acceptable at all levels. However, if you want to go with some cap rivets, you should use some 5/16th ones. Here is a great thread where you can buy some from one of our members : https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34902-centurion-level-rivet-sets-for-sale/ .
  18. Looking good! You should not have much problems clearing basic approval!
  19. Sorry for asking, but what do you mean exactly by "thumb print"? Are you talking about that : If that's what you mean, it goes on the inside. The front has a cover strip that joins the two halves of the bicep.
  20. Great job! Sent from my LG-M470 using Tapatalk
  21. No worries mate! I'm sure you can still square those corners by sanding them if you prefer to !?
  22. Didn't mean to!! You can square them like the picture below if you want. But I was just saying that if you like your rounded corners better, this should not pose much trouble, as I've seen many people reach Centurion with rounded corners. That's all!
  23. I've seen some people rounding the corners and others leaving them squared. Most of the screen-used suits had them pretty much squared, but some people who rounded the corners still got Centurion without any problems. I guess it's more of a personnal preference then!
  24. The small 4-button one could definitely get some more trimming! The large one could also get some more trimming, at least on the top and bottom, so that it does not over hang. It's not too much of a big deal if they are not trimmed as much as the reference picture posted a few posts before, but it's nice when the button plates still sit on the raised shape without going too much past the border. Still a good job though - it's going well!
  25. You can also look at some of the gallery's pictures, which could give you an idea. Look at this one, for example - it shows the cods of many old original armors. Maybe it can give you an idea/example to follow : But as Lou said, not many people will see this part, so you can go for something that's more comfortable for you, because I guess that's an area where comfort is important! 8-)
