  1. Tackled the bucket today and while super nervous to start with, I'm super happy with the way it has finished up. Still more to do, but getting closer. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for the info, I always find your posts very useful and informative, providing additional insight into the armour we love to wear Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  3. Got back into the armour build today, biceps and thigh markings have been done as well as starting on the bucket. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  4. Procrastination and bad weather have slowed down the build. Masked up my biceps yesterday, ready to paint in the next few days. Hoping to get a bit done this coming weekend. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

  9. Congratulations Trooper and welcome to the FISD Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  10. Pics would help. In regards to your biceps, without pics I'd suggest looking into the hook method. You attach elastic across the inside of the low side of the shoulder bell and install an ABS hook on the bicep. The hook gets attached to the elastic when suited up and keeps it in place. 11. Congratulations Trooper and welcome to the Legion Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  12. Right Shin painted. A benefit of using the toothpaste method is I get a great result on the armour and also a minty fresh breath. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  13. Left Shin painted, same process as the shoulder bells. Loving the red. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  14. Shock Trooper Shoulder Bells. First time painting armor and I'm pretty happy with the result. Shiny White > Shiny Red >> Battle Damaged Red Just need to dirty them up with some charcoal once the paint cures. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  15. So to attach this bad boy I would have normally used rivets, but for the Shock Trooper there are no visible rivets. Thanks to my mate Nic, for the "Hot" tip, a hot water bath is now in order to shape the ammo pack. E6000 is good, but not that good. Currently held on with clamps. 16. Shoulder straps, before, after being trimmed and attached. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  17. Sniper knee attached, now onto trimming the shoulder straps, I need to remove the larger ridge from both ends. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  18. The right shin was a real pain, the cover strip kept separating when closing the back. After a lot of extra glue and extra setting time it's all good up front, with the rear strip now also attached. I've also trimmed and started the process to attach the sniper knee to the left shin. Front glued, sides tomorrow night. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  19. More armor build progress pics, left shin done with the rear strip attached. Left shin trimmed and glued on the front. Making good progress, will be able to start painting soon. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome aboard trooper and happy trooping Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  21. The Shock Trooper armor build continues with the right bicep now fully assembled and the left shin trimmed and assembled at the front. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  22. Right Bicep trimmed and one side glued, assembly of my new Shock Trooper armour is progressing slowly. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  23. All good now Paul, had to log in on a PC, couldn't update via the Tapatalk app. Hopefully the title now makes more sense. :)
  24. Thanks and attempted to update the title, but it doesn't appear I can. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  25. Kidney and Butt plate are now one. I present my Kidutt or Buttney plate. Shock Trooper build progressing slowly. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
