Let me say this, and this will be the last thing i will say regarding this topic due to its sensitive nature. I understand where Stefan is coming from exactly. With every action comes reaction. He is viewing things from an un-biased viewpoint, trying to find the answer to what led up to 9-11. Even though the atrocities the Taliban committed against us that day are with out a doubt ungodly, there will remain always a reason why they did it. Osama Bin Laden didnt just wake up one day and say, lets blow up the trade center building and kill thousands of innocents. He had a motive and a reason. The question "why" has controversy, as there are many different takes on why he attacked us. Nevertheless, he killed very close to 3000 people that day, men, woman, children. Those men and woman had families, kids and spouses. And in less than two hours, they were killed. For that, i cannot forgive those bastards. I dont think anyone can. And you Stefan are going to go and tell everyone on a day of mourning 'always think WHY it happens', and have nerve to write "same syndrome as Pearl Harbor"? That was all out inappropriate and disrespectful to us all. There is a thread for that, but you wont find it here on the FISD. If you want to discuss, "why 9-11 happened" then go talk to the Young Turks on Youtube. Dont bring it here. Thanks. Caleb

Pssh, i cant say I forgive or forget. My flag was hanging today.

My little sister was 2 when it happened. I just finished showing her footage off youtube of the event and its haunting. But what I remember the most from that event, was the unity the country had afterward. I remember seeing a flag on almost every car, every suit jacket, shirt, and home.

Actually i saw one of the original rotj suit at an Exhibit years ago, i have photos some where, but from what I know it was vinyl sowed to the fabric. I believe matt said that same thing too. However, the tour suit was all vinyl strapping with zero cloth underneath it. Ill try to find images just to make sure. Caleb

I was going to go, but there have been complications. My I wanted to show off my ROTJ armor but my car needs work done to it before inspection and i just dont have the money for it. But I am already signed up for neko con, which is here in Hampton. So i will be looking forward to it!

But then again, George also liked the look of everything being dirty and used, instead of clean and sterile like you see in most sci-fi films. So.... Caleb

Thanks! Yea its gotta be one of the most accurate out there. I am figuring out how to make the shoulder straps, since the originals where made out of a flexible vinyl material. Ill figure out something though.

Wow, I am really blown away. -Darth Finger Thanks! Yea when i saw myself in the mirror for the first time, i almost fell over! I never really liked the TK armour in Jedi. I thought it looked odd back in 83, but I have to say, that does look really great. -mods1965 Thanks man, I think that all the TKs in all the movies look awesome, but ROTJ is my fav just because of how different they look compared to the TKs in the first two movies. That looks great, nicely done. -Firebladejedi Thanks man, it should look even better once I finish the helmet and get the right boots. Thanks a lot, yea it truly does. I think the rotj has a character of its own. it stands out much more than the ANH/ESB in terms of look, especially with the trim. By the way, i must give credit to FON, this suit would not have looked this good with out your trim! thanks, Caleb

Thanks man! You think I have what it take to be ROTJ elite? haha. Thanks Armando! Yea matt went above and beyond on this suit. Its truly a wonderful piece, and extraordinary durability. Love ABS. The helmet is tough for being styrene, it has a beautiful coat of biscuit colored paint to match seamlessly with the armor, its a awesome helmet! Ill be taking more photos very soon of that. Yea, out of the box was to easy! but atleast i have a great reference to use once i put together my other rotj suit. By the way. If any of you are curious, the first picture is of me when i was 9 years old, back in 1998. I loved stormtroopers when i was a kid, so i tried making my own costume out of thick cardboard from scrap boxes and hot glue. My mom thought it was cut and of course, took a photo. she told me i should put it up on here to show you guys how much i loved stormtroopers, even at such a young age. haha. anyway, thanks for the wonderful comments!
