It’s the brittleness that worries me too. So for the effort of more sanding to not have it break may be worth while. What’s xtc? I only know of abs, pla and nylon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey guys, I’m about to try making a blaster with a 3d printer. I’ve always been a sheet styrene, epoxy and resin guy. What I would like is opinions on the plastic to use. Basically PLA OR ABS. I want to troop with the blaster so what do people use? What drawbacks have you found with each (especially if you’ve tried both)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's fine, I'm not trying to be argumentative and I don't really mind upgrading the blaster, especially as I have ordered a new one anyway. All I'm trying to do is politely request the other issues, like the textured part that needs cutting out of the wrist someone else mentioned (can't scroll back while using Tapatalk) or actually confirmation he is right before i irreversible cut that part out. I know you do this for love uskwrath, not money but it makes sense from where I am to identify all the issues at once, rather than one by one. Where I live, in New Zealand, delivery can take a long time. And some early morning web search suggests it might be a month or two for my blaster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is my set up. I have used a vibration speaker so the front armor will be the speaker, this should stop expected muffle. However it works with head phones but as soon as I use the speaker I get constant feedback (with some occasional breaks where it nicely clicks) and no voice no matter what. The mic works fine on voice memo, the speaker works fine on music??? Any ideas? They aren't brand name splinter or microphone as I was trying to do this on a budget. -----------
