  1. Well done. Where are the cool gloves from Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. All the rough cutting and gluing is done. I decided that because this abs was so easy to cut if I assembled the parts I could ensure symmetry and evenness at the joins. Sanding begins tomorrow. I also figure it’s time to start sanding the 3d printed blaster too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Glued the sides of the torso. Tried something different from everyone here. I used ABS solvent glue. Seams pretty solid. Sanded and painted the resin weaver forearms. Was pretty rough printing, but 850 have said they’ve only included these for this run as an extra bonus. Putty and lots of primer still have left more texture than I’d like. The part I was most disappointed with was the thermal detonator, the end caps looked rough and not very symmetrical. So I found some perfect size pvc pipe stepdowns. 4. I think it’s still doable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Bit of sanding and detail cutting. Also started the torso sanding, and making the opening at the back. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Looks fairly easy to trim down fo tla, just no going back. And a small crease.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I have a codpiece question for you Tony. The last jedi crl says correct cod peice but both tfa and tlj have the same stock photo. Lookin at behind the scene images I can’t see a difference???? And here’s a scene with 3 different cods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Rough cuts all done. Sanding and fitting to begin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Good job, I’ve been distracted by my own full size fotk . So much easier Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Not getting much time in the workshop to cut. Plus it’s cold. Been whipping up clips. Some have come out perfect and a couple haven’t. Blame it on impatiences, a couple were taken out too soon and expanded a bit warping the shape a little. One must have gotten a little water as it went funny and puffy. Water is the enemy of polyurethane. The big one is a bit rubbery and oddly flexible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. cut some shins out and cast the first clips. I tried curving the anovos mold to make them better shape for connecting later. Would have got more done but I bought slow set :-(. This took so much less resin than I expected so I cast another kylo belt clip too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The anovos came out real nice. Interestingly it’s in between the other two’s sizes. There’s a bubble in the large one. Not sure if OCD overrides the wasting silicone. It’s only two clips and they’ll be easy to cut out the reverse bubbles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Casting up the cleaner and thinned clips. While I had some spare silicone. Figure as it’s only for me it doesn’t make me an evil recaster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Me too. Only ever done thin painted Eva. It may be hard to get the clean edges. If I can’t I’ll grease up to the rubber shop and see if they can trim small pieces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Cutting has increased. Both spat parts (seams strange calling them that. For me spats are compression leggings for wrestling and grappling) and cut foam. This is less dense than Tony’s so hopefully it’ll sand smooth too. Filled the rough lines from the 3D printing. Ready to cast, hopefully silicone laid tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Started cutting. The boxes look a bit thin to me, but one can only be that thick so I made the rest proportional. These boxes have no back so I’ll have to scratch build some up which may add some depth. This abs from 850 is pretty easy to cut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Still avoiding actual cutting. Had to put together my scratch built holster. 3mm acrylic laser cut. Screws from Ali express Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Good luck. Love the painting on the blaster scope. Really looks brass Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The tall one fits my iPhone and wallet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Quick styrene box for keeping the structure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. No excuses anymore. Pouches done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Not a pattern but here’s a picture of my home made ones. The sides are noted in cm. The. You can see it cut out with flaps, a bit remensient of paper models flaps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Not sure why I’m ignoring the mammoth task of cutting the plastic but making the pouches. Maybe this is the cart ahead of the horse as I e realized the gaskets probably need to wait till I’ve conn cues the arm parts to make them the right size but I continue with soft parts.
