Today’s work, mostly a failure. Made a gasket, turned out too small. Had some practice sewing straight lines though And painting the SE-44C. Doesn’t look so bad in the photo but the primer went crackly??? Didn’t notice till too late (read too impatient in autumn to wait for it to fully cure) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s going to take a fair bit of sculpting and extras to get it at least EIB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is 850. They did a couple for friends for tfa I think. Mostly they’ve done death troopers and shore troopers but recently they started a limited run and I grabbed the first one, yay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I’ve pulled my bbb apart and laid it out. First impressions: It’s a bit thinner than my anovos ot-tk and the pulls aren’t as crips, which I’d say was mostly the male plug molds. That said the price was about 1/4 my first tk. And I actually have it. No helmet in this kit, but as I got an anovos when they were first released that’s ok. Keeps the cost down too. The resin grebeles aren’t great. I think it’s going to be most likely I’ll make one of each size perfect and remove the 3D print lines then cast them up from that. Should same time and use the silicone and resin I’ve had sitting around from my kylo belt wondering what to use it for. There are no instructions so I’ll be bastardizing the set from kb props and uskwrath’s anovos build to put bits in the right place. Not entirely sure what these parts are. Assuming some clip for the spats and part of the thermal detonator (lots of other parts for the TD already here) And there’s no blaster holster, but while waiting I made my own and had it laser cut in 3mm acrylic. With a slightly modded nerf gun (added an air soft grip so it was the right size for my hands) the idea here is it’s more ruggared than the laser printing I’m going to do from Germain’s 5thhorseman files Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I had it laser cut but I didn’t think enough about how thick it should be. I guess only the middle part matters as that’s the thickness of the pan head torx. Can I ask you to measure it too please. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No problem, thanks for the assist attempt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey again guys, I’m putting the cart before the horse while my blaster is printing (off site) and I wait for armor to arrive I want to build the holster from scratch. I just haven’t been able to get an accurate size. I think it’s 200mm (about 8 inches from what I’ve compared from pictures. Please could someone provide an accurate length? Thanks. I have some of his files which I’m having printed, as I never get time to use the desktop pc anymore I haven’t looked inside the file for the pdf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will do when I can sneak away more from the family. I’ve orders some screws from AliExpress. We can compare and swap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can you guys please share photos of your screws, on the blaster side? Just an add on, I’ve googled a plenty and found some pictures that have the raw torx screw but that feels unfinished, especially with the thread visible. I have done that on the kids 48inch battle buddy and it just feels amateur. I’m leaning towards the torx screw. A 7mm bearing, smallest m3 I could find for the holster, and a 10mm m3 washer. I am making all the parts from scratch. Customs and freight are so much to here that the budget gets blown on that. I also prefer the challenge rather than buying the excellent kits from dan. I have no pictures as I’ve been dragged away from my workbench to take the family to the beach Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
