  1. Congrats Troopers on becoming Staff Members. I wish you well on your endeavors this year.
  2. I love their armor. WTF uses a thicker ABS than Anovos, so it is more durable. Plus you can get your armor in about 6 weeks, typically. I am getting ready to get my Shadowtrooper Armor delivered by them.
  3. You can order it from here and it will be delivered in less than 1 week. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_7305903
  4. REFERENCE PICTURES: I used pictures from primarily 2 sources. The first source of course, was the movie "A New Hope". 2 of the ANH TK's wearing the Spacetrooper gear can be seen in the movie on the Deathstar watching the Millinneum Falcon as it was entering the Deathstar, via tractor beam. The second source is from the Sideshow Action Figure so I could get more detail. See below: Reference Photo 1: From this picture it looks as if the tubing goes into the side of the helmet. You can also clearly see there are 2 vertical tubes and 1 horizontal tube. Reference Photo 2: You can see 2 white thrusters on the pack and another view of the black tubing coming into the helmet. Reference Photo 3: Another shot on the Deathstar. Reference Photo 4: 2 different Hakurai figures. One with breathing tube coming in to front under helmet and one breathing tube coming into the side of the helmet. I am currently undecided on which one is more accurate. From the movie pictures I can see both of these being correct. Reference Photo 5: Sideshow Action Figure. This photo shows multiple angles with greater detail, including the clear cylinder that comes out of the pack. Breathing but appears to be in front under the helmet. Additional Reference Photos: Provided by Paul (aka Daetrin). So, our 3D prototype was based on all of these references, with of course, the sideshow action figure being the main reference, due to the detail. We do plan on offering different levels for this pack once complete. By we, I am Crookknight's Imperial Trooper Packs, as a lot of work has gone into the design and details. At this point, the glass cylinder will most likely be offered as an option to upgrade the accuracy to the highest level. Below are a couple of the 3D prototype pictures. The 1st 3D model is currently being fabricated and I will post pictures of it once completed. These pictures will be raw pictures before any cleanup etc....In this build thread, I will show the process of how to go from the raw 3D model to the finished product.
  5. You can request numbers from a list of available ones. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

  7. No. Not yet. I know it will not be vac formed from abs. I will see how the 3D material works and will also be looking at resin cast. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  8. You eat more popcorn than anyone I have ever met.
  9. ok. Good to know. I just started a build thread in the non-approved costume section. I will be posting everything up to this point. The pack will be in next week, so I will be able to show that build. Plus we are working on the Glass Cylinder for the higher level for the pack. Should be cool.
  10. I have decided to start a build thread to show the step by step progress of my ANH TK Spacetrooper Build. The main component of this build is the pack. Currently, I have a 3D prototype and should have the first physical prototype next week. I will go ahead and post the reference pictures and the design pictures, prior to getting the pack. Upon completion, I will be submitting to get a CRL approved for the ANH TK Spacetrooper.
  11. The good news is that I should be able to submit my ANH TK Spacetrooper soon. I will have the pack components next week. At that point, I can paint and assemble. and I DO have the right armor for that one. I wonder if I need to be shiny for that one or if I can keep my battle damage? Thoughts?
  12. Paul, Due to the fact my armor is not ROTJ, I have decided not to submit my Magmatrooper for CRL consideration. At this point, I am not going to be able to build an entire new armor set for this. Oh well, it was fun making it anyways.
  13. Yeah. I saw that one. The frown is definitely more narrow. Not sure how much I like that.
  14. If you have any questions along the way, please ask.

  16. No. I will go ahead and do that. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  17. Gilbert, Looking good. I would like to point out a few things to you. I am not sure who your GML is that will be reviewing your application, so I cannot speak for him. As you know, we strive toward uniformity in the HWT packs, that being said, you will most likely need to remove the Imperial COG from the radio. It does look cool, but should not be on there for approval. I understand your location makes it difficult to obtain the proper materials, but the sizing of the cones and size tube might be a little off. But again, this is up to your GML. Your armor looks really good. You might want to think about getting it a little dirty (since we are Heavy Weapons troopers that have seen battle). I have used black washable paint. That way, all you have to do is rub it off, when you want to be shiny again. It is not a requirement to weather your armor and pack for the first level, but if you hope to go to EIB or Centurion, you will need to add the battle damage (i.e. weathering). Glad to see you removed your drop boxes from your ammo belt. Again, these are only my observations. Good luck and it will be great to have another Heavy Weapons Trooper on-board.
  18. I am building another one for a customer and have decided to make a few improvements. Below are some updated photos. For the cooling fins, I have re-scaled these, used a thicker material and added more detail:
  19. Shin armor has been repainted. Pictures are below.: I will also update this in Spec Ops.
  20. Wait until you see version 3 that I am working on now. This will be my best one. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  21. Movement is constricted. Just have to turn your whole body when you to the side. Not to different from now. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

  23. I guess I could have shown you this before, but I found the 4 buttons in black on Amazon. No painting required. See link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M8I6YLH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
