  1. Do the other parts fit ok? If its just the chest, maybe you could get an AM chest and use that with the rest of what you do have?
  2. PACKAGE!!! And inside... I did have to wait a little while longer due to getting the helmet trimmed, but the wait was well worth it. I love that everything was packed really well, and I am looking forward to the challenge of putting it all together.
  3. Glad I wasn't the only one. I agree, that is some excellent work there on the teeth. Kudos!
  4. "Man wears a hat like that, he ain't afraid o' nothin'." Awesome work on the helmet, and the hat.
  5. Couldn't you just trim the dimple down a slight bit more without completely removing it?
  6. i did the same with my Imperial Boots - since I tend to wear narrow widths, I went with a size 9, and it fits perfectly compared to my usual size 8 1/2 shoe. If I had wider feet, I think I would have to go another size up as well.
  7. The notch work is awesome though!! I never would have thought of saving the indention as a return edge and just reversing it like that.
  8. You're doing a great job, especially those biceps.
  9. Love the before and after pics of your trims. Keep up the awesome work!!
  10. Photobucket hates everyone this week. Could it be due to too much E6000, and so gravity does its thing? Have you considered taping the strips in place with painters tape until the E6000 dries? Might be one way to keep things aligned.
  11. I had issues with PB earlier in the week, too.
  12. Nothing wrong with taking your time - as several vets have said, enjoy the journey. We still want pics though.
  13. With the tracking number now received, it is time to start the build thread. Since ordering at the end of September, I have been collecting the other items needed to complete the armor. I also took the time to get my E-11 blaster built and painted. (Many thanks to the several troopers that helped in giving encouragement in that thread, linked in the signature below). The items collected so far: Boots: Imperial boots, size 9 Neck Seal: Darman E-11: Doopydoos resin (plus Gazmosis' mag and T-Jay's completion kit) Holster: Darman Belt: TKittell Gloves: Sonnenschein Undersuit: Barricade Items not pictured: Thigh Garter: Pencap Hearing Assist: ukswrath Hovi speakers: ukswrath TD Clips: AP I also have my Testors paints, E6000, Lexan scissors, sandpaper, and other assorted tools. I still need to get a respirator and cut-proof gloves. I know I am missing the elastic and nylon strapping, as well as the snaps, but those items aren't needed to start the journey - just soon after. I look forward to the process, and I thank everyone in advance for any and all suggestions and advice given, in past or future posts.
  14. What I would give for a tracking number right now... Well, a tracking number that led to my armor. I don't need those other numbers. I'm very excited for you all that have your boxes in hand (or will shortly)!
  15. Their version of the Graflex would be this one, though I cannot comment on accuracy. I have two different blades from Ultrasabers, and I have been very happy with both.
  16. I like that you went with "less is more" - not too many blemishes to make it look overdone. Just enough to suggest good use. Well done! Only suggestion I would make: on the grip itself, coating that with a clear gloss. Original Sterlings had a glossy plastic grip. Link to the E11 Blaster reference guide (painting section)
  17. Excellent pics so far - have fun with it!
  18. I thought Mark was already providing Centurion level rivets with the new kit? It's great that Joseph is willing to do that, but it may not be necessary.
  19. Great work so far, hopefully you will have that armor soon! If you just want a few really small ones, I have several spare ones from my miniatures projects. Let me know and I'll see what it would take to ship them to you. You could try checking at the local hardware/Home Depot/etc for something like this: 1/4" x 1/4" x 7/8" magnets (link to US site, but you get the idea) A bit large, but would do the trick, I believe.
