  1. Like I mentioned before, YOu just have to be careful and meticulous because replacing parts really jacks up the price.
  2. lol you wouldn't be the first brother, I had to replace mine!
  3. That's exactly what I was thinking if you want to get to cen, It's gotta be glued Lol and yeah I'm going to glue the crap out of that thing!
  4. My Thigh armour is nearly complete. A bit more trimming and I'll be set. I got the back cover strips on and installed the ammo pack. You can see I'm still fighting with this damned ammo pack as well lol. I also did dome more snaps for the back and kidney.
  5. You know it bro! I also bought a lightweight Balaclava. I have a winter one but it will be way too hot in the summer.
  6. Yeah man you're flying! You're already farther along with the snaps than I am!
  7. Started the Ab and back snapping last night I was also very proud of how well my seams fit together on the thighs whilst closing them on the inner strip. I also started my E6000 fight with the sniper knee, this is going to be a riot :L
  8. Here's some of the progress yesterday night. Thighs are getting their inner strips. I apologize for the picture quality. I left my SD cards at work for my Canon DSLR so the phone had to take it's place. Snaps for the bells and biceps! Doesn't look like a lot but this doesn't show the time spent fighting with the forearm oval and sniper knee nor the time scratching my head on how to install the chest snaps.
  9. Thanks guys. Just put the inner cover strips on the thighs and started installing snaps Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  10. I should round up the like of us and start the border city squad you can move to windsor and join us housing is dirt cheap lol Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  11. Soooo cool! To the story and the patches and correspondence. Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  12. I just have a very long neck Mark lol there's little padding at the top.
  13. I hear that I was sick again on Sunday. my stomach is not as strong as it used to be
  14. Actually don't listen to me lol. THe AP TD panel fits pretty nicely without trimming there isn't a specified set of dimensions for the caps or panel just approximations. If it looks screen accurate you're golden!
  15. Slow motion high fives all around when we get to the summit brother! lol
  16. Nice work! I didn't size the panel for my TD look like that's a redo too
  17. Well, I've been off the grid for a bit but I did get a lot accomplished. My thigh armour was messed up so I had to redo that. I had to realign the pieces glue the backs back together wait a day and do the front cover strips. It looks MUCH better. Also I went out and bought some more nice larger clamps and a pair of pump clamps. Next my shins, The coverstripping turned out pretty good! I also started wrestling with that sniper knee... What a nightmare that thing is NOT going on straight and I need to accept that. I also tried my hand at installing snap plates. Not as bad as I anticipated. From Danny "Mechapumpkin" Steinberg's Centurion AP ANH Stunt build I used his method for "de-ovalling" the forarms they've been like this since Saturday. And finally I made my helmet fit nicely WITH glasses on!
  18. they do look nice. I should have spared myself the trouble :L
  19. Looks as though I'm going to need to trim that cover strip down and trim down the outer thigh tops so they meet a bit better.
  20. I'm also getting very worried about the tops of my thigh armour. It doesn't line up completely should I cut the coverstrip on an angle to make it appear more aligned? If any centurions out there are reading this please let me know if any of these parts of armour are going to give me trouble down the road...
  21. I might have to do this. Mark I'm having a tough time with that sniper knee. It is way bigger than the top of my left shin and does not go on flush at all. I have seen many builds that have the same issue. All of my coverstrips for the legs are 20mm like many others. Any suggestions on how to install this?
