Managed to get the chest on it's a little tight I already loosened it once butstill kinda tight around the neck might need to extend a bit more. Won't be long now. This weekend is going to be another slow down though. My fiancee's bridal show is Sunday.

Totally man. I actually broke down asked the old lady to help me can't see what I'm doing lol

not the bells Dan, I mean connecting the white elastic shoulder straps from the back to the chest plate. I was standing in most of my armour and undersuit for a good 2 hours last night in around 23 -6 degree (75-80ish Fahrenheit), I now know the heat. lol

Ok So... Garter system. very nice fit. Started on the belt. Very afraid for the snap bit... Right side enclosure with tab system for a glove like fit the 2 sides have literally 0 gap! Having a really hard time placing the shoulder main strap snaps and the Chest piece in general. I have 2 snaps in the front of the ab and 2 in the chest should I connect those first and then find the correct fit for the shoulders? Right now I have them only connected to the back...

Getting close thighs gartered and strapped. Torso is almost done. Shins more or less except the sniper knee not perfect. Couple more things to strap and then the belt. Clean, polish, paint rivets the done. Pics soon

Ok OK, I did not use a full 1" strip. what I did was make an inner cover strip, put 2" industrial velcro on the open tab of that strip (the prickly part) cut to fit, then on the calf armour inside that touches that prickly tab I did the same thing with the soft opposite velcro. For extra strength I repeated this on the outer coverstrip and the armour it touches.

I secured the right side of the ab for a more circular butted fit for each of the side and started putting in my connections for the left side of the ab. The male snap is installed also. I didn't take a picture of the other side yet but should have, the 6 rivets look pretty good. I also started with the left shin inner strip And the right is pretty much finished

this was also difficult for me. The kidney was easier for me because I just cut to the 22mm notch. The ab needed a bit of effort. your best bet is to put on your undersuit tape the 2 piece where they're comfortable mark where that point is. Repeat until you're sure and then cut.

Ok I did the same thing with my end caps, I didn't use that much e6000 so I just twisted them really hard and they came off. They're just on there via their own pressure. Give it a try brother.

Anywho here the progress so far. right shins cover stripped and velcro'd Shoulder Bells snapped and Strapped Sniper Knee more or less on. I really made the sides ugly trying to smush them into place how bad is it :L hand plates strapped Biceps snapped

yeah it all fits pretty well. I'm not going to put the arm/leg/shoulder strapping on yet until I have it fitted properly.

What did you glue them with? and Yes you can paint the screw that's what a lot of people do

This also makes me nervous... looks difficult to perfect

I'd avoid that at all costs man. Glue the sh*t out of it let dry and then glue and clamp the problem area. Mine is a little crooked but it's better than ruining the whole piece I am terrified of heat after my ear fiasco.

Honestly I eye balled it. I clamped the 2 pieces together after I placed and glued the male snap plates, took a piece of nylon and soldered the nylon to make holes right above where the male snaps lined up, put together my female snaps on the nylon stips I just measured out and voila.

Tried some strapping and more fighting with the knee plate last night. Still kind of unclear on how to do the calves...

Excellent work bud. I found some nice 6/32 panhead screws at home depot they're ovalled so the clips may have to be counter sunk. If I would have kept up with my pictures I'd show you them. I'll try to get them up asap. I left my SD card at home again :L I think I went a bit overboard on my snaps, I have a double snap "spine" down the middle of the back armour with single snaps on either side of them

Lot's done will post pics later today! Unfortunately I ran out of male snaps :L I need to grab some asap to keep going. Also I don't know how you guys have gone through so much E6000! I'm just running out of my first tube lol. I think it's because I've been using the tip after globbing it on to spread it out all over the surfaces I'm gluing saving a lot of excess. Tube #2 is ready and waiting but first... Dem Snaps, I'll probably just run to Walmart and grab some Dritz ones I only need maybe 10 more. I still have plenty of Female snaps and sew in ones for the shoulder elastic.

I had to take a much needed break last night. A long weekend awaits who knows I might finish this by Tuesday!
