  10. I was looking around the net regarding my sterling conversion when I came across this chart... From looking at this there shouldn't be an E11 with an M38, a counter, power cylinders, wires and a straight rail (the angled mount refers to the scope rail that is fixed to the body with a "z" bend in front of the rear sight) Is this chart accurate? if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  11. Love the "let's see what's lying around" attitude, that's how about of this got done... But anyhoo the blaster is coming along well, you don't hang around do you... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...

  13. I've seen this fix on a kit somewhere, what to do is take out the screw, increase the hole to 5mm, get a small plastic box like a pez dispenser a small bit of sponge and a 5mm led, open it so you can get to the inside of the Mag, cut the pez dispenser to about 2cm (the bottom of it) the put the led through the hole from the inside, put the sponge in your little plastic box then glue it on the inside over the led so it holds it in place buy can be pushed as a button from the outside... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  14. Yeah I know but I didn't notice my auto-correct changed it as my phone is used to me putting Stirling as in the place because I collect from there regularly...My phone likes making me look an idiot, not that I need much help... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  15. A neighbour knocked today and handed me a parcel they had signed for while I was at work (away Sunday to Friday) and this was in it... Deactivated obviously, with its certificate so everything's above board... The deactivation has cut the breach block in half vertically along the length and then welded it back into place but also cut the rear inch and a half off replacing it with a piece of steel tube that the cooking handle fits (very roughly) into... this allows the cocking action to still work but without moving the breach itself... One thing I wasn't impressed with is the fact the muzzle bolts have been welded so they can't come out, not a problem as such but by eck it looks ugly... And now I have to go to working won't be home till late Friday so can't do anything to it as there's no way I'm taking it in the truck with me lol... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  16. Can I have the height you take off? I'm only 5'7" n a bit lol... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  17. Regarding the arms, you can make them sturdier but still flexible quite cheaply if you still into the upper arm and insert say 14mm steel bar then slide over that a 14mm id spring then the same with the lower arm then slide the bar that's in the lower arm into the spring joining the 2 and now has a steel spring elbow... Examples of what this would cost in the UK (enough to do both arms) if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  18. Cool, look forward to you being accepted... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...

  23. From my understanding of the basic approval spec thighs, forearms and biceps should be "fully closed" with the additional wording of "in the back" for the thighs... I may be wrong but it does not specify a fastening/bonding method so in reality any method should be acceptable... If velcro is not allowed for whatever reason I think a quick fix would be to remove the velcro and simply glue the pieces together overlapped, this would eliminate the velcro joint gap completely and as the "constructed using the butt joint and cover strip method. Overlap construction is not allowed" on all 3 of these parts is only relevant for centurion level this should be acceptable... Using glue that can be undone would be recommended though... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  24. Cut the feet off, drill into the foot and the leg and insert steel or wood dowels to reattach them into place... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
