  1. I ain't thought of a price as it only occurred to me today to get a Stirling and that I'll have 3 in the end... Suppose you could fire me a pm with an offer [emoji13] Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  2. 6-8 weeks... time enough to buy a Stirling and stare at it for a month before deciding it needs some bits attaching to it... That said, I have a full doopy and the commission comes with its own blaster so I might be selling the doopy soon as I don't think I need 3... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  3. OK so that's it I've just clicked pay now on an RS commission... Now just the wait... A long wait... Are we there yet? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  4. I'm very tempted to get one, I fired them back in the 80's, even for nostalgia sake but in the end I know I'd be converting it... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  5. What sort of price would a deactivated sterling go for? Not an E11 just the sterling... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  6. What about a mount for a smart phone? Can pick up some cheap ones that would fit, just activate the camera and voila... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  7. That's the million dollar question, I knew RS do a full custom build and SDS but they're the only 2 that I know who do it and out of the 2 it's a no brainer for RS... If I had the time to do a kit it would be TM but I don't know if he does commissions... If there was a list of builders that do it'd give me the info I need but if there is I can't find it so again I think I need somebody's superior knowledge on this... 8. OK so it seems from these replies there is no stigma to buying a commission build, that's OK then... Thanks to the guys that replied and I'll be ordering mine next month
  9. Right so I've been wanting to own stormtrooper armour since the age of 9 and decided yes I'm going to get it... Problem is my job, I'm a truck driver and I get in the truck on a Sunday then get out of it on a Friday... I don't have the time to build because Saturday is doing shopping paying bills etc and I need a bit of time to chill... So I guess I want to know the attitude towards commissioning someone to do it for me, is it frowned upon by the members that spent so many many hours painstakingly building their own? And what status would a commissioned set be able to reach? Acceptance? EIB? Centurion? I would have loved to build my own but with the small amount of time I have spare it's not really viable and limited space in the truck means I can't build it in there... I'd like people's honest opinions on this issue please... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  10. Okily dokily then... Just ordered a vernier gauge so I can measure it when I get home at the weekend... Just wanted to know so I could order some speakers for them... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  11. Does anybody know the internal diameter of hovi Mic tips at the base?
  12. It's designed for a lot of things but as the majority of people fill want it for such purposes that's the description they give it...<br> I've built plenty of amps in the past mainly for guitar headphone amps etc to give parents and wives some prace so not usually stereo, just wanted it feedback on it, it's easy enough to source/attach the missing bits for next to nothing...
  13. Link should work now it just doesn't look pretty...
  14. Hmmm it doesn't like my link or me editing it
  15. This is amazing, far beyond what I had planned but very inspirational and now my plans have tripled...<br> I would like to ask though, is the hearing system stereo?<br> I've had a quick look around for a kit in the UK and this one seems to be the one I think would be promising but I'd welcome your opinion on it if you don't mind please...<br> &amp;lt;a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='&lt;a class="bbc_url" href="<a class="bbc_url" href="<a class="bbc_url" href="http://www.rkonlinestore.co.uk/rkamp2-2-x-25watt-stereo-amplifier-project-kit-578-p.asp">http://www.rkonlinestore.co.uk/rkamp2-2-x-25watt-stereo-amplifier-project-kit-578-p.asp">http://www.rkonlinestore.co.uk/rkamp2-2-x-25watt-stereo-amplifier-project-kit-578-p.asp"&gt;http://www.rkonlinestore.co.uk/rkamp2-2-x-25watt-stereo-amplifier-project-kit-578-p.asp</a><br></a><br> Don't be scared about the 25watt in that link they just couldn't put the . in it
  16. The 2 concerns i have about that stuff would be possiblymaking it too rigid and taking away armour flexibility and The cost, depending on how much you wish to reinforcethat could be expensive...
  17. This guy also sells this on eBay as vendor rattlehead_2008<br><br> He's also just started selling shadowtrooper armour...
  18. Ok this may be another 'personal preference' thing but is there a 'best rat's yo fasten the lower legs together at the back? I've seen Velcro and I've seen holes with hooks but I just wondered if there was an official way to do it or wether it's a case of whatever suits...
  19. Ive had issues on this site for over a week and couldn't get on at all using mobile devices, I reported it via Facebook and was assured it was a global issue and the webmasters were working on it, it affected my taptalk too so I'm guessing once they get the rest of the new server issues ironed out everything should be ok...
  20. Glad to see you have fixed some issues with mobile connection in the UK, I can now get on the site with my phone which I'd on Vodafone...<br><br> However, I am still unable to get on with my tablet, or phone if using WiFi, for my WiFi I use ee mobile 4g, site is still inaccessible when using this giving an error of 'server not found' <br><br> I bought the tablet specifically so I could view threads on here in preparation for my build so I'm hoping you can fix this issue too...<br><br> Hope this info is helpful to you...
  21. Ok this thread was helping at 1st n now I'm just as confused as I was at the beginning oh well I've got 2mo the to decide anyway so I'll save flipping a coin till then...<br> The one thing I am certain about is Stunt, that much I've been able to settle my addled brain on, as long as I don't change my mind 50 times in the next 2 months...
  22. Yeah I know that n after owning bikes since 1985 I can say that I wouldn't trust a helmet bag with a newspaper in it Tbh... I like a much more sturdy option...
  23. I've been looking around and I think I've found the right solution for me (as I'm clumsy at times and a helmet bag just won't do)<br> Am I right in thinking that a helmet measures 12"x12"x10"?<br> If so I'll be buying a dj's 12" vinyl carry box as the ones with 100 disk capacity have internal measurements of around 14"x14"x14" which with a bit of foam shaping would be perfect...
  24. Thanking you very muchly, mine is definitely too high buy now I can make the necessary adjustment
  25. I'm sure I read somewhere (i think it was in someone's centurian request but I can y find it) that there is a maximum height allowed for the scope rail, anybody have a difinitive answer to this because I think mine may be too high...
