  1. We all go through life with questions occurring to us all the time, some we are able to work out for yourself, some you get answers from your friends and these days some you google (other search engines ate available)... But some you can't get an answer and bug the crap out of you from time to time... So mine... A spaceship travelling at twice the speed of light has another spaceship following behind at the same speed on the same course, if somebody looked out the rear window of the ship in front would they be able to see with their own eyes the ship following? if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  2. "Can't pick that up" Awesome... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  3. If you have too much difficulty casting it do you think it would be possible to scan for a 3d print? if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  4. You're putting in a lot of research in this, I'd seen the pics you've posted buy my knowledge of how prisms work is obviously inferior to yours, I'll definitely be putting my scope on hold till you come to a conclusion on what is and isn't possible... Popcorn... Again I've thought similar, but there are a few posts showing the view through a real scope from the wrong end and it looks like a clean view, not magnified but not reduced either which is normal for looking down a telescope the wrong way... but weird but hey ho... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  5. Good luck, don't think you'll need it though... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  6. I will be following this stage of your build with a lot of interest as I had a similar thought although I thought there were 2 prisms in an M38... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  7. Of course you can... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  8. Yeah it is, I've just spotted a post on fb announcing they're looking into it... Just another excuse not to approve your armour lol... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  9. OK that's annoying, my whole msg disappeared because I put a smiley in? Urgh... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  10. If you put the same effort and diligence into your armour as you did your E11 then I foresee an amazing thread in your future... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  11. I'd be knocking on neighbors doors if I were u lol... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  12. Urgh, I hate waiting lol... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  13. I didn't know her but from reading what is written from people that do this is a sad loss indeed... R.I.P if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  14. A-ha I see, but I also see it won't stop you being accepted so it's a minor point for now... Get your pics up there, as far as I have read you've done everything needed for acceptance... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  15. Regarding this, try putting it in the oven and warm it gently, very gently, it should make the glue tacky enabling it to come apart... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  16. Nice to see you're still plodding along with it, looks good to me... Question I have is how did you reshape the thigh ammo plate? I saw the original on your wip thread and am buggered if I can figure out how you would get the top 90° angles... Good work fella... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  17. If you can find the Disney stormtrooper voice changing mask it has a static burst, needs to be operated with a ptt button though... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  18. Oh I'm positive it can be done I just wanted to see if anyone had done it already so I could see how they'd done it... While I was driving today it dawned on my that on I e of my bikes I have to raise my head to see in front of me, this would cause a problem if it had a complete back from a bucket on it so I've come to the conclusion that I will fit the faceplate and somehow attempt to get the bottom to match/meet the bottom of the helmet so I can still tilt my head back... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  19. Looking at your 1st pic I'd say yes you have put it in the wrong way, iys time to drill it out(I suggest from the back) and the next one you pit in post it through from the front... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  20. Oh it's definitely too bulky, as I said the back isn't long enough to reach the faceplate it's a good 3inches too short...But it's not to get 501st approval so it doesn't need to be screen accurate lol... I can't take pics till the weekend as I've just got in my truck and I won't be home till Friday... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  21. Kevin's helping Kevin's [emoji1] if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  22. You're welcome...I look forward to seeing your result... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  23. Anybody ever used a faceplate on an open faced helmet before? I'm thinking of doing it... Roughly lined up the faceplate and I think it'll work but the back is too short to go round so unless I get another back to extend it I'll only be able to put the faceplate and the ears on... Would be interested to know/see if anyone else has done it before... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
  24. Sorry for the crudeness of the drawing, my laptop is in the truck... The pin through the centre holding the foldable sight is 5.6mm... If you remove the end cap the sight is mounted 20.65mm from the end of the tube... Hope this helps... if it works kick it, if it doesn't work kick it till it does...
