  1. They are heavy, Not entirely accurate as the receiver has no holes. The paint is really smooth matt/satin so not accurate. They are a fairly nice display piece but for the money and a little effort you can build a much nicer Blaster. The case is nice but most of them were damaged/cracked when shipped at least mine was..... I sold it and now only like real sterling E11's but then I am a blaster snob!
  2. I can supply trim for helmets if you are interested.
  3. Keith did you ever get any decals for your helmet? Pm me your addy and I'll get a set of my new ones out to you.....
  4. Great idea. But if you send me your addy I'll pop some "found" T-Track in the post. Will save a lot of work!
  5. What a fantastic review of CFO. I'm humbled by your kind words. I for one was one of the fans that always loved the ANH ESB troopers first as I went with my father to see them when I was 7 years old and they were the first to see for me. However having bought the oldest moulds in the world taken from an original suit and that suit was a ROTJ one then it was a no brainier for me to offer ROTJ armour as it should be. I didnt want to convert it to ANH as its true lineage is a screen used ROTJ suit. Also so many had already offered ANH it seemed silly to follow the crowd. As no one else seemed to be making true ROTJ armour it was only fitting that I do so. I teamed up with Joe who had a fantastic helmet that we have used for a while. That helmet is no gone into retirement from CFO as it is with a new owner. I am currently working on the Oakley/CFO helmet mould that came with the armour moulds. I have also recently Acquired an original 20th Century Darth Vader helmet, 1 of 5 made for the SE promos and tours. So I will be offering ESB Vader helmets along with my TK products too soon. Stay tuned...... Mark.
  6. Great newsletter. Some really interesting articles. I like the death troopers. I can see my brother who is a horror fanatic getting into one of those. The email said it was a ROTJ special but I didn't see anything on this subject? Was it edited out? Was really looking forward to seeing and reading that. :?:
  7. That looks great Lucas..... Good eye for detail.....Now you just need to change the M38 lettering on the front of the scope and you won't be able to tell the difference....
  8. OK, It's definitely larger than the ANH and as you say it is also a thicker gauge...... I will try and get it sorted.... Thanks for your help Jesse....
  9. were they the same size squares or wider? I'm looking into getting a company to pre cut me iscs for the Hovi's and the ROTJ mic tips and wanted to get the correct mesh before shelling out for the 1000 minimum order !!!
  10. Is the mesh in the ROPTJ mic tips the same as the meh in the ANH/ESB Hovi's? Can anyone shed some light on this? I remember seeing it discussed somewhere but cannot find it for the life of me.... cheers in advance....
  11. Funny how this thread is about size 7.5 and they have that number too.........
  12. Rick, You've inspired me to finish another weathered suit.......
  13. Has anyone noticed the ab butons on this trooper? They are the wrong way round........ Yet on other shots they are correct. They must have flipped the film on some shots......
  14. Hmmmm........ I'm not supposed to have the barrel but I bought a whole bunch of parts from a US guy and that was in the box. I have never attached it to the Sterling as that would be a bit silly.......Legally that is. Although I'm not sure where I stand as mine is a 8.5mm Sterling barrel and it cannot actually fire real 9mm rounds...... I did use digital callipers for all the measurements that were not too long for them otherwise it was a tape or ruler.........
  15. I think you'll find that's my mistake.... I was measuring so many dimensions I must have got it wrong.......
  16. I do indeed. I have to say that some of the best props that have ever come to this community were originally bought In eBay. I've just bought the original 20th Century Darth Vader helmet and that was on eBay. So I now have a Vader helmet to offer from castfromoriginal. Like Joe says just do your research and you can find some wonderful things on eBay. Th SL Vader helmet was bought on eBay and that's one of the finest example of Vader that came directly from the Rick Baker mould.
  17. If you know the make and brand will you please share it.?
  18. Thanks for the pics. Does it say a maker on them? The soles are a generic sole made by Goodyear.
  19. They are mine........
