  1. Happy Birthday FISD!!! Yeah!
  2. you know it! Apparently he is.... Thanks everyone, It's quite humbling being featured on a classic site such as starwarshelmets.com that's for sure..... I feel like I'm a part of TK history now!
  3. Mine is from my old smoking wacky backy days....
  4. Hi guys, thought you might like to see the new updates on starwarshelmets.com http://starwarshelme...rmor_Helmet.htm
  5. Wishing you all the best from here too! Stay strong.
  6. Cool, great shots and Paul has it nailed that is definitely a ESB MKII helmet second down.
  7. I'm using it on my LW scout.
  8. What Karin said^^
  9. Keith, I this this to assemble all my suits and helmets and it's quick, clean and sets in less that 30 mins. ---------- It liquifies the abs and rebonds creating a very strong connection. Just clamp the parts together and with a drop on a small brush touch the the seam and it will run down and into it by capillary action. DONE!
  10. Im on holiday at the mo but they need timming quite thin and marrying up to the helmet until you get a good flush fit. I'll see if I can find some pics and post but most of them on on my computer at home. What plastic is it? I have spare pinseal ears and maybe a spare smooth. Cheers
  11. Looks outstanding! I'm more tempted by this more than ever!
  12. the same story I got! He's one sad individual. Yep, one sad bunny!
  13. Cool thanks Rich. good tip on the elastic too. Simon my Brother is my model of the day.
  14. They are not made SA and the soles are black too so it's irrelevant. This wasn't a boot show off, more of an armour show off. Not clearance pics either.
  15. Thanks buddy, I think the camera is making it look large. It's fine in real life. I'm not sure the buttons are any different? I know some of the tour/exhibition suits looked darker but I'm not convinced the screen used suits were different? I could be wrong of course but you guys look a lot closer at these things than I do! Joe I could draw you some pictures! They are just a cheap pair of black chelsea boots off ebay and the white shoe colour didn't cover very well. As I don't troop and just use them occasionally I am not too bothered. I have since bought some new shoe dye which hopefully will cover better.......... I was just showing off the armour and helmets as that's what I produce. I don't produce boots.
  16. Unfortunately the weathering doesn't show up too much in the photos but in real life it looks worn and old and battle damaged.......
  17. Hi Guys and gals........ I have just finished assembling two suits of armour for two customers. One weathered Endor Stunt and another Death Star shiny version. I was given permission by the new owners to take some pics for my new up n coming website and to update my starwarshelmets.com page and general self plugging.... on with the pics..... Shiny Death Star Trooper: Weathered Endor Stunt Trooper
  18. I've got a great idea. Why don't you use a metal ruler and clamp it to the side and score a line and snap!
  19. I tend to just free hand score a line down the parts that need trimming , bend and snap.
  20. Well for 200-$300 you will get what you pay for. It costs me more than that to make a suit and helmet. It will also be recast. There are only a few vendors in the world that make armour that is not recast. TM his is a very accurate own sculpt, RS that is cast from a ANH screen used suit and my own CFO cast from ROTJ. There are other accepted vendors too. Please check out thd thread on getting started to find more info.
  21. Unfortunately that's the problem. The legion council don't want to get involved protecting the people that supply them with legitimate good quality armour. They would rather let recasters run rife and that makes the likes of me, TM, RS and others weary of selling our goods. Madness.
  22. Good luck. Cheers for your consideration.
