  1. Looks great! I love the blaster detail. The extra work on the scope really pays off.
  2. I can't comment on the ATA/AP differences. I do recommend if you want EIB or Centurion that you start your build with that in mind. It's far easier to incorporate those requirements up front than to try to upgrade a finished build.
  3. There's an ongoing run: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19803-fs-white-canvas-belts/
  4. Also look up Robert (tkittell) here on FISD. His belts are on a lot of troopers out there.
  5. Great looking armor! You may want to take the return edge off the forearm in the area with the dimples.
  6. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks! Centurion should be coming quickly!
  7. I"m 6'3" and have TM armor. It's great for taller people. My guess is that you'll be able to work with the ANOVOS kit. You can get creative with the gaps at your elbows and knees and get it to work. The biggest challenge will be in the torso and making that long enough. There are things you should be able to do there as well. It's hard to tell until you see the final kit.
  8. I love the shine on your armor. It's showroom ready! You can't beat the Death Star room for certification pictures...
  9. Todd Weishaar, TK22237, Centurion letter, please. Thanks!!
  10. Greetings, fellow Texan! There's a ton of things to be learned here at FISD. There's also a Texas-specific Facebook group designed to help future Star Garrison members. Check it out at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/296336407050926/
  11. Great job! Welcome to the ranks. I like that you made a lot of the parts yourself.
  12. Thank you everyone! I hope to make the Star Garrison proud. I just saw that I'm #172. That's cool. My TK ID is from one of the planes I rented to get my private pilot license, N22237, a Cessna 172.
  13. With my rubber handguards, I made similar elastic loops. E-6000 didn't hold it at all so I ended up using Loctite GO2 gel.
  14. Awesome! Steve, thank you so much for the guidance along the way. I appreciate all your advice and answers.
  15. That's a good looking set of armor. I love the opening drop boxes!
  16. I'd recommend taking a couple of scrap pieces and make some ABS paste. Make some cuts and holes and dents in another piece of scrap and use the paste to fix it. Once you see that the plastic can be fixed, you'll be a lot more confident!
  17. I've got a Hyperfirm E-11. It's a great looking, worry-free blaster. You can often find them in the "for sale" section here. It looks like there are some available now: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32118-fs-hyperfirm-anh-e-11-centurion-level-3-available/
  18. What kind of Centurion would I be if I knew I could make my armor better but didn't? Rivets out: New rivets in, painted and ABS paste applied. Sanding and polishing in the morning. Thanks to everyone for the feedback!
  19. Congratulations! What type of undersuit do you have? In some of your pictures, it looks like rubber. A very cool look!
