I got a pair of the TK boots they labeled 'not perfect' a little over a month ago. They look amazing to me, really great quality. Exactly like the boots trooper96 posted.

This is just awesome. I'd watch a show based around TIE pilots. The TIE Fighter game had a pretty cool story that went along with it. I remember the game had a small novella, and then the big guide continued the story.

Welcome, Kristi! I just got my big brown box in last week and talk about exciting. I went with TM's armor and I couldn't be happier. I'm 5'8" and so far all the TKs I've met in my garrison are taller than me.

Wow! Like the others, I'm amazed at the result of hot water on that armor. ABS doesn't do that, right?

Yeah, he doesn't seem to criticize Disney for their vision. I will reserve judgement about the movies until I actually see them. I am hopeful that we'll get to see something great; just like I was in the late 90s. See how that turned out? lol.

I bought Russell Athletic compression top and bottoms from Amazon. Only a small logo on the chest, and solid black everywhere else. Price was better than east bay and free shipping.

I ordered mine from Darman last week and it came in on Saturday. I'm really happy with it. I measured my neck around the Adam's apple and sent him the exact measurement (which was also the neck measurement for my work shirts). Darman put a little extra room in the neck seal so it fits perfectly; I didn't need to add any inches.

You are absolutely right. R2 was always with Anakin, who was Obi-wan's best friend. And R2 and C-3PO were inseparable after they met, so Obi-wan would have to have recognized the pair of droids right after the sand people attacked them and Luke. I just try not to think about that sort of thing. LOL

We can all "hate" as much as we want on Star Wars. But one thing we all have to remember is that they are, in fact, just movies. They are entertaining stories written by a man who has great vision and ideas, but also is just a man. He made mistakes and changes along the way while of writing these things. I am a die hard true blooded Star Wars fan. I dislike a lot of what Lucas has done, but I don't hate any of it (well maybe Jar Jar). What I love about Star Wars heavily outweighs what I dislike. So I don't dwell on the negative. This article struck a chord with me; as did "The People vs George Lucas." But it is a humorous chord, I'll keep enjoying Star Wars. @DDay - regarding Obi-Wan never owning a droid: it can be argued that he never did own a droid. All of the droids he worked with were the property of the Jedi Order or the Republic military. He used them when necessary, but if you think back to the PT you'll realize that while he interacted often with droids he never had an owner relationship with one.

Won't the armor fit differently over a good under suit (underarmor/eastbay/etc) vs. over regular clothing?

I'm glad I never was tempted to go to eBay for my armor. Does anyone know who "rattlehead" is that's making and selling this armor?

Talk about a great thread! I have watched ANH more than 100 times, and this is the first time I've ready about Mr. No Stripes. Now he's going to pop out at me every time I watch the movie.

That was really cool to watch, also got me choked up. Whenever I've watched that scene in ANH after seeing the PT I've had those flashbacks in my head. Glad to have an actual video clip of them together.

Very cool looking suit, Ash. Spain is my 2nd home, wife is from there. When I finally finish my armor I'll have to bring it with me on our next trip over there.
