I was going to ask the same exact question! It looks like a really strange pull on that TD plate.

You best bet is to go to a gun shop and get an actual soft-side padded gun case for the larger weapons, and I would bring it with you to ensure a good fit. My T-21 is a Hyperfirm so I don't worry too much about it getting banged around a bit, (battle damage), but I have a soft case for my resin E-11.

spOOL68's T21 Build
justjoseph63 replied to spOOL68's topic in MiniMag PTL Missile Launcher, T-21, RT-97C (MG-15)
Wow, Roger.... Simply WOW! I'm not sure what kind of extra time you have on your hands, but there are a lot of HWTs out here who would love to have one of these beauties! -
Welcome, Anthony! Questions, questions, questions... Well you are in the right place, sir! I'll start out by letting you know that AM is for Armor Master. They make a great quality kit (it's what I have), and shipping is usually fairly quick... usually less than a month. This may seem like a long time, but some take up to 6 months+. Yes, it is designed where it can accommodate the larger trooper, but can be cut down as needed. For instance, I am 5'10 and 155, and mine fits perfect. Shimming is when you are required to add extensions to certain areas, depending on your size. This does take a little extra work, but there are many tutorials and even more folks on here that are more than willing to help you should you need to do this. And no, you don't need to be a handy-man to be able to build a set of armor. Tools, definitely. I have a complete list of items you will need, (including tools) in this thread http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31404-supply-list-for-your-tk-build/which should help you. The real key in your TK journey will come down to one word.... research, (and lots of it). There are a lot of GREAT build threads here that will give you an idea of the entire process from beginning to end, along with photos and detailed instructions, and a plethora of folks here to answer any questions you may have... (it's kinda' what we do here). Also, you didn't state what area you are in, but many Garrisons and Squads hold "Armor Parties", where a bunch of senior TKs get together with new folks to help them out. I also have a thread about those, located here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/36164-what-is-an-armor-party/. You might want to consider taking a look in the "Advanced Tactics" sections at the EIB (Expert Infantry Badge) and Centurion submissions as well, to see just how far you can take your armor toward screen accuracy. These are not required levels, but definitely something to think about aiming for! My advice at this point would be to start your research in the "Getting Started..." section, as many of your questions will be answered there, but know that we are available and here to help.

Thanks for that clarification, Jason!

Thanks for the info!

Holy cow, Dan... I must say that I am with you 100%. You have some serious work that needs to be done on this, including what looks to be an endless amount of sanding, (WOW, that is a rough cast)! If you were paying $195.00, I could almost see that, but $350.00? Break out the Bondo, though, and I am sure you will have this looking great in no time!

I decided to open this up for questions about the shirt run, but please read all questions before asking to see if yours has been answered already. Many queries can be answered by referring to the last shirt run thread, located here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29922-racing-shirt-run-closed/. Again, please note that prices may have changed, and I will post them as soon as I find out. Here are the charts for sizing, but please note that the shirt(s) you will receive will be the black/white/grey as shown in the above photo. Also, I would recommend ordering a size larger than what you normally wear for 2 reasons: These tend to run a bit small, and also for comfort/mobility. They are made from 100% polyester, and will not shrink. The creases in the sleeves are "perma-pressed", and they are darned near impossible to wrinkle, so you can look sharp all the time! They also have a mesh lining in the top, which helps keep them from sticking to you in high humidity. MEN"S SIZE CHART WOMEN"S SIZE CHART

They are made from 100% polyester, Mark. They will not shrink, and the creases in the sleeves are "perma-pressed". To be honest, it is danged near impossible to put a wrinkle in these shirts, so they look great all the time,, (even after sitting in a car for an hour wearing a seat belt). They also come with a mesh lining in the top to keep them from sticking to you when you sweat.

They are not actually made here, Kev. They are produced in China, and then sent here to me for distribution within the U.S. For all foreign orders, they are sent directly from China to the recipient.

We have heard you loud and clear, Troops! Yes, in just a few short weeks you will have the chance to order your own spiffy new FISD racing shirts, personalized with your screen name and TK number! The price and shipping cost have yet to be pinned down exactly, but they should be right about the same as the last one, which was $30.00 for the shirt, $7.00 for Priority Mail shipping in the U.S., and $26.00 First Class for international, (based on one shirt) from the manufacturer. Exact numbers will be in the official post. The complete list of information on this run will be posted on May 1st, and the run will last until approximately June 1st. Here are some sample questions you may be wondering about in the meantime, though: 1. I don't have my official 501st i.d. yet. Can I order one? - You must have your 501st approved TK i.d. number to order one. 2. I am a TD, can I order one?- Yes, if you are 501st approved with a TD number. 3. Can I order one for my wife/child/handler?- Sorry, but again, you must be an approved TK or TD with a valid, up to date 501st Legion i.d.#. Sorry, no exceptions. 4. How long will it take once I order?- The payment will go to the manufacturer right after June 1st, so please allow up to 4 weeks for me to receive them and get them mailed out, and another week for the USPS to get them to you via tracked Priority Mail. International orders may get theirs sooner. 5. How will I know what size to order?- See chart size below. 6. Are there different colors available?- Sorry, but no. 7. Are these the same shirts as the last run? You bet! This post is just a "heads-up" for everyone so that you can plan ahead and save up your Imperial Credits.

Some sage advice, and well said, Dave! First, congrats on your approval! Sounds like you are definitely going to be great asset to the Mountain Garrison and to the FISD as well. I hope you will be a frequent poster here so that you can share your knowledge with those who are just getting started. So when can we expect to see your EIB submission?

where to get a good kit now that doopy's e11 is out of stock ?
justjoseph63 replied to shayvidas's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
The thing with Doopydoos is that they can come back in stock, and be out again within a matter of hours, Shay. Right below where it says "Out of Stock", there is a space for them to contact you when it is available again. The email they send you is generic, and doesn't even mention the E-11 kit. The key when you get it is to act immediately. I waited a few hours, and they were gone again. That quick. Also, be prepared to wait. Mine took 7 weeks, which seems to be about the average time for shipping to the states. It is a quality product, and it will get to you, just be patient. Or, like Mathias mentioned, you can go with Phoenix. -
Steady on there, Kev....

AP kit anh hero build.
justjoseph63 replied to Daz0128's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Congrats, Douglas, looking forward to your build thread! -
You can certainly purchase the aluminum strip and pan-head screws at Lowe's, Phil, but you will need a few tools and a vise grip would certainly help. To get the measurements correct there are several threads on here, but if you don't have the time or tools on hand, I would suggest (as krazytrooper said) getting them from Tony. That way, you know they will be not only correct and fit right, but they are approvable to Centurion level. Hint: No matter which route you choose, I suggest putting a strip of white Velcro (the fuzzy side) on the backs, so they don't scratch your armor.
