  1. I can't imagine how that would affect it - but on the other hand I didn't play with he filter .php when we did th enew skin - just the css... I'm looking at it now, so I'll keep everyone posted.
  2. Also when you go to New Content you can change the filter from "Posts I haven't read" to "Last 24 Hours" or better yet Eric's suggestion "New Since Last Visit. That will ensure that you don' have all the things ever you haven't read come up. Basically New Since Last Visit is like starting from scratch.
  3. Can you wrap it around and up rather than back? So that the front 'bulge' and back 'bulge are equal? Or use a hair net? And no don't cut your hair off!
  4. Nice work Brent! This is one of the best Hasbro mods I've seen yet. Especially cool mod on the scope. Nice paint job too.
  5. Looking good - strap adds something doesn't it? Doesn't Supanova have some crazy strict weapons rules? Please, please. please don't paint the end of this orange!
  6. based on ep 6..star wars :A NEW HOPE That would be the first clue to run far far away...
  7. I can't believe jedirobe doesn't even try to put the mag in the right place. How the hell do they expect the thing to fire when the mag in almost behind the trigger?
  8. That is an awesome troop - man if that had happened to me when I was nine! Great looking Garrison too. Quality costume work (trust me - kids do notice ) Great stuff guys
  9. In our ever continuing efforts to make the 1st Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment bigger and better the staff are always having discussions about what makes the site a place our members want to come back to time and time again. One phrase that sums up what we want our members to feel once they find FISD is "Hey man, this is really cool. I like hanging out there and being a part of that". So tell us from your own point of view in the replies below! What, for you, makes the FISD a really cool? What makes you like hanging out here and being part of this?
  10. There's no agreed 'screen accurate' thickness or width for the scope rail but i would say 1/16" is spot on.
  11. Exciting! What's with Doopy Doo's shipping the solid end cap with the full lug slot version of the pipe? Check out how I hollowed out my end cap in my build thread if it helps.
  12. Me too! That's awesome! Did you take any in progress pics? Of course we're both in WA so you really should bring it round my place to show it off
  13. Well that depends - why would you prefer your counter sat further away from your scope?
  14. I'm just going to step in here for a moment and say please keep this thread on topic. The issue of the origins of RTA is the discussion here. It's obviously an important discussion to the community and important information for all. However let's not veer of into yet another 'morality of recasting' debate. If you want to raise that as a general issue the conversations have been going on here, here and here. Carry on
  15. Exactly Vern - but this important. You need to make sure you make your spring according to the uncompressed dimensions and spacing so that when you insert and compress it you get an accurate reproduction of the compressed spring spacing.
  16. Indeed. Just find a stick that fits easily into the dopy doos pipe and wrap your wire around that. I've found that it helps if the stick is actually a bit smaller than your intended diameter. When the spring releases or you stretch it it grows a bit in diameter...
  17. Yep here's a pic from Mark (sskunky) of a real Sterling spring from the Best Sterling Templates Ever thread: You can see here it has approx 14 could spaced 13mm apart. The correct wire weight is 18 gauge. Hope this helps.
  18. Looking good - but where is your folding stock?
  19. But you have to make sure your pop rivet size and your male snap "extension" is the same size though yeah? Otherwise how does it fit into the female part of the snap? I really wanna do this...
  20. Also check the screen resolution settings on your netbook - the higher your resolution settings at the OS level the smaller everything will appear.
  21. You may need to download and enable a thing called "ClearType" from microsoft but what I'm talking about is this; This is your screenshot: This is what it looks like for me: See the difference in the fonts?
  22. Are the sigs examples of the smaller fonts? (By the way - turn on font smoothing I beg you!)
