It's been brought up in another thread this CRL statement is in question "Abdomen Section - The abdomen has 7 boxes attached that matches the order and placement shown and sit flush against the armor." How flush is flush? The remaining question is should this be at basic, L2 or L3? Anyway here's a photo of movie armor stating the obvious. Sorry for the edits, I misunderstood the question being asked in the other thread.

Welcome to the FOTK world lol. Gaskets make a difference also but if you already have the flexible versions (non rubber) then you're already headed in the right direction.

I have a FOTK and I was also one of the contributors and I can swear the CRL used to state There is no seam between the Ab and Ab boxes. We've known from the very beginning there is no seam. This is clearly an oversite.

Hey Johnny you can probably trim the curvature a bit to give you more mobility but I'd be careful. As you mentioned your forearms are way out of alignment. Does it make any difference when removing your helmet if they're in the correct position? For the record I have the Anovos beta kit, I'm roughly 6' and taking my helmet off is limited to my finger tips also.
