  1. Possible but Jonah is referring to fact he ordered a TFA, there's no mistaking what the screen armor was using at that time.
  2. Misunderstood your original COD comment, thanks for the correction. You'll need to apply the same logic to the forearms, TFA forearms were a bit longer than the TLJ. I assume also you plan on modding the TLJ helmet they send you also or do you already have a TFA? Regardless looking forward to your build
  3. Awesome!
  4. For the record this is no longer a requirement at any level . Just making sure everyone knows. CRL - OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Cut-out notches at the bottom of right and left sides of the Kidney Armor are optional.
  5. Congratulations Jason
  6. Alright Adi congratulations and welcome to EI , hope to see you at Centurion
  7. As the ole saying goes "The more things change the more they remain the same"
  8. As Glen mentioned like Anovos 850 has also had their issues, though 850 is improving and as you might have heard Anovos is now shipping orders from 3 years ago. Since you're not a fan of fiberglass that leaves you with KB and Diversity props. Both are pretty decent armor from what I've seen.
  9. Hey Zak welcome. I would imagine everyone that responds to your question will have a different opinion. Some like ABS, others fiberglass, and others 3D print. All have their pros and cons. As with everything else check out all the suppliers, talk to current and past owners, join a couple FISD and social media groups that discuss these things. That said I personally prefer ABS. I've built ABS, fiberglass and 3D print.
  10. I don't think Anovos is too concerned whether the armor is 501st approvable out of the box. Obviously they have another priorities, like sales. And technically they're correct this armor doesn't need paint, it's white and the resin pieces are white. What they're not telling buyers is if they plan on seeking to join the 501st modifications will need to performed. That said not everyone buying one these costumes, or any other costume from any supplier is planning on joining the 501st.
  11. As mentioned above, it depends on how you built your armor. As for me pretty much the same as Neb
  12. As mentioned already some wanted the licensed accuracy, but I would wager most buyers have had open orders with Anovos for a long time, some for more than 2+ years, some even longer than DP or KB have been officially been selling kits.
  13. As your fellow troopers have mentioned read, read, read. Before you make a single cut, read. See the pattern here? lol
  14. In addition to what Glen mentioned you might want to blacken the scope, a has a bit too much brass showing. Other than that it looks great
  15. Hosts, guests, I suspect they will get an earful regardless.
  16. Our garrison GML would definitely hold back the basic
  17. Hey Rob great to see you received your kit and you're on your way I would contact your Garrison GML, I'm pretty certain you may need to make a few minor modifications to the helmet and possibly waist belt before you apply for 501st basic. But check with them first. If you don't mind us asking how did the preassembled kit fit you?
  18. Awesome. Can't wait to see your build. BTW Gaz was my inspiration and my DO predecessor. You're in good hands here.
  19. Excellent, congratulations
  20. Here's to hoping for the best
  21. I've got several sets lol. One from 501st with the cog on the chest (no longer sold I believe), set from trooperbay, underarmor, and Anovos (last back up because they really suck).
