  1. Hope she feels better Chris, family first We'll be here when you're ready.
  2. Charcoal dust and a blush brush [emoji2]
  3. Hey thanks Hans. I appreciate the kudos brother. A great deal of frustration and $ went into the first build in my TD. This is my TK, a bit refined as you can see. If I could just find a suitable battery supply I would sell these as kits in a heartbeat.
  4. Awesome, wow and beautiful, the car of course
  5. Easy fixes Chris, you can do it brother
  6. Another Echo fan kit endorsement here, though mine are anything but conventional.
  7. I'll be at C7 Friday, in the park Saturday. Looks like I'll be missing all the photo ops. Oh well. If anyone wants to say hello I'll either be sporting the racing shirt or black vest with UKSWRATH on it. Hope to meet a lot of you.
  8. It matters Kaita
  9. You're welcome Tim, glad I can help.
  10. Scott I think you meant this post from Tim starting at #288 http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27561-a-slightly-disheveled-medium-and-a-pristine-big-brown-box-arrived-today-darks-rt-mod-anh-hero-and-stunt-build-thread/page-15#entry391605
  11. The ROM/FX is a voice modifier/amp. My Hovis are straight off my ROM/FX.
  12. I'm going to chime in here also. I'm all for good ole fashion elbow grease however, if you know you're going to be doing more than 20-30 minutes worth of sanding then polishing, the Headlight Restoration kit from 3M is the only way to go IMHO. This kit and a drill and your set Amazon, normally $20, on sale as I write this for $10. http://www.amazon.com/3M-39008-Headlight-Restoration-System/dp/B001AIZ5HY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426871140&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+restoration. Those that have read my rebuild thread know the nightmare I had to deal with. Sanding and polishing that took me a few hours with the 3M kit, would have taken me a week + with manual labor. I swear buy this kit. I use the Novus polish also for touch ups but for blending areas of repair, 3M Repair kit. Sorry Tim didn't mean to hijack your thread also. You know you're highly respected in my book sir
  13. Hey Alex, as Tim has stated check my Helmet Electronics thread (BTW thanks Tim ). You're more than welcome to use any of the ideas I have there. BTW, by the end of the weekend I should have my new new ATA helmet pics posted, here's a sample. ---------
  14. Actually that's a Chicago screw but whatever, awesome idea none the less.
  15. Edited 3/20/15 6:06PM Here's a couple pics of my ATA with hard hat liner.
  16. Hey Jc I know, that's the reason I'm building my own and for the FISD/501st members. $80 is ridiculous.
  17. FYI, if anyone is interested. I'm looking to produce Mic Tips with speakers. If all goes well in my testing I should have some ready to sell within the month. Hytechtoys is selling theres for about $79 I've been told. Mine will be around $40-55 + shipping, depending on the configuration, this is for a set of 2. The $40 set will consist of Hovi Mics, speaker with 6" 22awg wiring leads (bare ends). For the DIY The $55 set will consist of Hovi Mics, speaker with 6" 22awg wiring leads connected to a 3' long 3.5mm connector you can plug directly into your amplifier of choice.
  18. Without having the specific model number the only info I'm coming up with so far is these mics run off a 18-24VDC communication system. These will not work with the majority, if not all the systems available for our type of costuming.
  19. Great repairs Tyler and welcome to the Centurion ranks sir
