  1. Hey Paul I have a question, I understand the suit is ABS yet one TFA troopers allowed me to look at his armor in detail. I didn't want to disrespect the guy by mentioning he had paint runs. Why would there be paint on the ABS? Is this because of the rumors of needing to used fillers, like bondo?
  2. Awesome, have fun this weekend.
  3. As for your TD, I assume since you are emulating a specific trooper you're shooting for SWAT. If so double check everything you do on your build with that of the trooper you are emulating, on the MEPD. From ear and brow positions to how the eyes look. Everything is critical. The SWAT level is extremely precise these days. They have up to 3 officers critiquing and approving each applicant with extra scrutiny. This is not to discourage you but to help eliminated possible do overs later. Good luck sir, watching with anticipation.
  4. Which character is that? NM, Duuuuhhhh Look sir droids....little slow over here
  5. Tehcaveman stated he ordered 3+, doubt there's a limit unless you see a disclaimer somewhere. From what I've gathered from the officers over at the MEPD this kit will most likely be ok for Police, though it will probably need some modifications if you choose to go for SWAT.
  6. As you build your armor be aware there are left and right sides to almost everything as well, even though they may look the same they're not. Don't hesitate to ask if you're unsure about something.
  7. Ah much better. Great job David.
  8. I was able to wear one of the helmets for a few minutes but that doesn't even compare to those who wore them for hours. To me it felt like a loosely fitting full face motorcycle helmet but 1/2 the weight.
  9. Hey Danny looks like you've been given some great tips so far. If you want to know if your EIB ready post more pics here (same pics you would see in a EIB request thread). I would normally tell you to just post them on a new EIB request but as you already know your backpack wouldn't qualify unfortunately. So.. post detailed pics here so we can take a look see.
  10. You're fired! [emoji2]
  11. Kinda like ordering ATA No disrespect Terrell, love ya bro
  12. Kevin & Allen I would highly suggest reading the "Getting Started" guideline first. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/ This will get you going in the right direction right off the bat. From there you can hit the "on going sales" threads here... http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/16-ongoing-sales-project-orders/
  13. Manny you are an animal, love it!
  14. Yea you won't see the TFA suit going for $350.....ever!
  15. BTW that's a bad a$$ photo, dirty or clean
  16. Well if they are that's an added bonus. Heck, besides the armor your also getting the holster, belt, neck seal, gloves, under suit and webbing. Kit Details Comes with the completed helmet, holster, belt, neck seal, gloves and two-piece arming (body) suit. Armor pieces that require trimming, clean-up and physical assembly. Features basic instructions for assembly. Basic webbing suite for mounting of armor pieces to arming suit.
  17. I agree with you Steve. It would be nice to have all the facts, especially whether this armor is minimally EIB acceptable before purchasing. Something to consider, ANOVOS would be doing a major disservice to the 501st if it was to push a product that wasn't accurate enough for EIB, especially giving the fact they supplied the TFA armor with Disney's & LFL's blessing. I've heard nothing but positive feedback regarding other SW costumes coming from ANOVOS. . I'm not trying to push ANOVOS products in any way but @ $350 I bought one just to see for myself. Time will tell I guess
  18. You're a little clean for a HWT aren't you?
  19. http://www.anovos.com/collections/star-wars/products/star-wars-classic-trilogy-imperial-stormtrooper-pre-order Designed to fit a person that is between 5 ft. 8 in to 6 ft. (1.7 to 1.8 meters) in height, with a mesomorphic body-type. (See chart in the Sizing Guide section.)
  20. Yes, they have a base liner that fits the at the crown (top) of your head than another (optional) that surrounds the crown. Black on the inside from what I saw.
  21. Brian I've had a few recruits inquire if the ANOVOS classic TK will be Centurion approveable, do you have a comment on this or should I direct this question to Steve? Thanks
  22. Personally, I would trim the front side of the right ear. This should help the lower edge align with the bucket edge. If you don't feel comfortable with that just trim off the lower protruding edge.
