I'm assuming you have them pulled them up as far as they can go. There's not a whole lot you can trim off the bottom and still leave them looking accurate however, the tops you can trim quite a bit.
With that said I would encourage you to finish the cover strips and return edge trimming on your thighs and calves and then test fit it as an assembly with your boots on prior to making any major trim adjustments. Post new pics. This will give us a better idea of how your legs look, overall fit and suggestions we may have to remedy your situation, if needed.
Edit: Yea what Germain said also haha
No not snaps, split rivets. Using this template pencil mark your armor. See if you are still able to install split rivets without hitting the steel portion of the snap, if you can just drill 6 holes and install (dummy) spit rivets. They don't have to be functional.
The detonator, the clips, everything looks horrible, I think you should send it to me immediately for proper use, I mean disposal.
Sickeningly perfect as usual Russell
Second picture perfect.
E6000 tough as nails, I personally ran an exacto knife parallel with the trim, between it and the glue. Picked a corner then peel it off in one chunk.
Yea humidity is a killer. I completely fabed my Ninja body from the ground up a a few years ago, bondo, fiberglass, prime and paint, one day of high humidity ruined 2 sections, can yo say do-over. Great job so far Jeroen.
Intensely watching
haha I completely understand.
Well I'm on wave two on orders, the Hovi tips are selling like crazy. Let me know if/when your ready.
BTW, I'm working on running the Disney board through my ROM/FX Mic somehow, or soldering a 3.5mm jack to the board and pipe the Hovi speakers through it. Either way this little board is way too fun for the money.
Hey if you come up with something let me know.
