NOTE: You're not supposed to have any logos on your under suit. If you go with this just use something to remove the logo or a black sharpie to cover. With that said, no one will ever see either logos being they're hidden by a neck seal or armor anyways.

Heck I'm in for that

As some of you know I've taken my time building my armor for one reason, accuracy. I was also looking into updating my armor in this area. My initial thought was to find some thin cover strip (ABS) material, fasten to the inside of the ab & kidney sections also allowing it to overlap and hang down. Cut out the belt attachment tabs and install snaps as seen in the pic. Then I thought to myself, this is a area that no one will ever see, similar to "brackets or snaps". Yes it is important for accuracy sake but then again most current TK armor is manufactured to be assembled correctly with no, or very minimal modifications. Though it is important that the entire costume be screen accurate, until more accurate armor becomes available that can be built CORRECTLY, focusing on the exterior accuracy is a more logical direction for me personally. Good luck to those who attempt this. For the accuracy Nazi's that may chime after that statement think about it, if the suit was manufactured screen accurate from the start would this thread still exist?

Excellent! I believe it comes installed with 80 grit, which worked fine for what I used it for.

WOW! Ok a couple questions. Are the ears the same size, and is there a right and left? If you were to use a fabric tape and measure the distance on the right side helmet ear indents (upper ear mounting holes) to the lower ear mounting hole would they be the same between right and left sides of the helmet? Is the helmet symmetrical? The lower section of the helmet, where it curves in relation to the ears, are the right and left sides equal in size?

I haven't trooped in it yet so I can't give you a real world experience review. I've used CA glue with other plastic, elastics and rubber materials without any issues hence the reason I went that route. I believe there are others that have also used CA. I would encourage you to ask around from those that are completed and have trooped in their armor to what they're using and how it's working for them. Thanks for the compliments

One last thing, when taking pictures make sure your chest plate is positioned over your ab. Do what you must to keep it down. Beautiful armor!
