A & B are the new norm, C is not however, if you've already performed C then we'll take that into consideration during approvals.

Yes, it's posted on the discussion thread in the Detachment forum. Sorry for the delay. Basically it states. If your armor does not have the 22mm it is not required to add it. If your armor does have it and you add shims the notch is to remain in the same location it came in with the armor, aligned with the posterior plate. If a shim is added it's to be added to the area above the notch. If the notch is present it is NOT moved forward with any shimming.

You don't have to bend it Walter, the ab box covers it however, as you mentioned the box doesn't fit well there. Note: The box will fit better once you fill in the side seam. Suggestion, the location in question comes together at a point, bond it there. After the glue dries, if you still feel the need then use whatever you want to fill the gap. Once you fill in the seams those boxes will be trimmed to fit the ab. Hope this makes sense.

Hey Reese, when you say stomach you're referring to the Ab correct? The ab does not have seams on the sides, there is one seam and it is in the back, as seen in this picture.

My pleasure Mike. Glad it helped.

Good thing it's not a race. Take your time, measure twice & cut once, but most of all enjoy the journey. -
Excellent news. Actually I've had one for over a year now, a bit pricy but I love it. If I can only get him to make them in mass quantities. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Noproblemo. Caution is a good thing, especially with this armor.

I took a stab at a device advertised to remove EMI noise from USB 5v charging ports. EMI is only noticeable when used with audio equipment like my SHA unit. As some of you know my SHA runs off the 9v or 12v and not 5v, this is why. So, over the last few months i've been experimenting with all sorts of ways to eliminate the issue. Lately I purchased a device called a Jitterbug. This little beauty is designed to eliminate or reduce EMI and other related electrical noises. I don't doubt it works in specific circumstances as advertised, but it definitely didn't in mine. Long story short, I returned the $50 beauty, thank you Amazon, and now I'm back to square one. On a side note, I discovered out of the 5 different USB chargers I tested with the Jitterbug the Antigravity Mini has the cleanest EMI output of the bunch. At least I got something right

Starting to look like a Echo bracket lol Nice work. -
Hey Walter, the CRL states they are to have a seam, so bondoing is out of the question.

Hey Braden welcome to Stormtrooper armor, where its beauty and awe is only outdone by your inability to move in it freely, lol. There are plenty areas you can trim to increase movement like the return edges as Aaron suggested however, if you're shooting for EIB or Centurion I would encourage you to hold off too much trimming until you have all the sections assembled. At that time take some pictures of you in your armor (semi completed and taped together if necessary) then post some pictures so myself and others can give you more accurate advice. Looking good
