  2. Hi Alex, Andrew or myself will be with your shortly. While you wait can we get a photo of your helmet "S" seal please. Thank you
  3. Hey Justin, I went with the Antigravity because of the 12v and 5v output, mAh, came with lead cables that could be converted and also purchased separately if needed, they were reasonably priced and received a good user rating. It obviously doesn't matter what you use as long it suits your needs. Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing what your come up with.
  4. Looking good. Yea adjust and secure those thigh pieces as you motioned. Almost there Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  5. Well done Jon, beautiful job . Hope to see you EIB and Centurion
  6. Joseph did you get my PM?
  7. Well, there's not supposed to be decals or anything that's not in the CRL.
  8. I love this stuff, and I like popcorn I have to admit.
  9. Hey Anthony, Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. In the meantime we'll need you to remove your ID decal and resubmit photos. We also need to see photos of your helmet "S" seal, green lens, blaster "D" ring, waist belt connections, exterior sides of the cod and posterior (rivet and snaps). Thanks brother
  10. Not sure if will warrant a CRL change at the higher levels once established, but the face definitely looks a bit different. TFA TLJ ? EDIT: I meant no NEW CRL, possible change or notation yes.
  11. I'm lovin this SWAG
  12. Hey Scott, we need a few more photos, helmet "S" seal, waist belt connection (back of the belt) and TD connections (how the clips fasten to the tube). Thanks again
  13. Hi David welcome to your EI review and thank you for your application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper, congratulations! Very nice job on your armor build David Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over but nothing incredibly major. A very common issue we see is the shoulder bell to chest & back plate gap. Optimally there should be very little gap in the area. We're suggesting you tighten the upper bell to shoulder strap. This will draw the bell closer to the cover strip and armor. Here's a reference photo Kidney and ab out of alignment. Not a big deal here but your do want these to be at the same level. Minor adjustment and you're golden. Reference photo And lastly, the vertical ab button place return edge could stand to be trimmed down a bit. It hangs over the raised ab mount where it should be slightly undersized. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We do one area that will need to be address before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. According to the CRL the drop boxes should be aligned with the outer edge of the ammo belt. We suggest gluing the drop box strap to the waist belt. Doing this should help hold it in place. For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference photo. Beautiful job on your armor build. See you at Centurion. In the meantime get out there and be proud of the FISD's newest EIB. Congrats.
  14. Hi Riley welcome to your EI review and thank you for your application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper, congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over but nothing incredibly major. Let's check these out. 1) Shoulder bell to chest/back plate gap. The ultimate goal is less gap between the two as possible. We would normally have your make strap adjustments but it almost appears your bells are too small. Try rotating them forward to see if you can even out the gap. Reference photo 2) In some of your photos your waist belt is riding low. It should reside at or just below the lowest ab button. You may need to make a mounting adjustment. Reference photo 3) Bicep to forearm gap. The gap between the two should be around 1/2". A strap adjustment should resolve the issue. Reference photo 4) Back plate to kidney gap. There should be little to no gap between the two. Again, a strapping adjustment should do the trick. Reference photo 5) Waist belt length. Your waist belt appears to be about 3" too long. It should extend past the TD by maybe an 1" or so. Trimming it back should bring it back within spec. Reference photo 6) Leg front return edge width. Since the front of the armor is the most recognized we encourage builders to assemble the front sections as close to movie specs as possible then if needed add shims in the rear. If you have room to do so we encourage you to resize the front sections. Here's a reference photo giving you an idea of what were looking for. 7) Thermal Detonator clip edges should be rounded following the curvature of the tube. We're suggesting you remove the clips, bent them a little closer to the tube. This will not only help the TD look cleaner but also help prevent the clips from getting snagged on something. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We do have a couple areas that will need to be address before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. 1) The drop box is to be aligned with the outer edge of the waist ammo belt. Securing the low connecting strap should help keep aligned. We're suggesting you secure the drop box elastic to the wait belt itself. This should keep them in place. For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference photo. That's it! Excellent job on your build. Hope to see you at Centurion.
