Hey Mike my pleasure. The first three FOTK generations were definitely harder to build than a OTTK, they're far more complex however, the newer gens coming later this year are supposed to be easier. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Looking good Jon, a couple things worth mentioning. From the edge of the helmet tube stripes to the face is = to a #2 pencil in width. The Ab button plates should NOT exceed the width of the base they're being glued to. Hope this helps Reference photos

Hi Angie welcome to your EI review and thank you for your application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper, congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over but nothing incredibly major. Let's check these out. 1) Shoulder bell gap. A very common concern we see is the gap between the chest/back plates and the shoulder bells. In most cases tightening straps or removing the lower return edge usually reduces the gap however, in your case it looks as if the bells were trimmed too much or they're too small. It's not a deal breaker but we are suggesting maybe you look into replacing them in time. Reference photo 3) The back plate to kidney gap should be little to no gap. With your arms down it appears to be within spec but when you lift your arms up the gap grows which leads us to suspect you're using elastic to connect the two. We're suggesting you use nylon webbing or similar to help prevent this from happening. Reference photos 4) It appears your biceps are a bit high, they should almost touch the forearms. I read you mentioned having them lower causes pinching issues, well we most certainly don't want that however, maybe we can find a happy medium. Try raising the forearms as well as drop the biceps. Here's a reference photo to compare to 5) The waist belt is about 1" low. It should reside just at or below the lower ab buttons. Tightening the connection to the ab should bring it up. Reference photo 6) Your armor appears to be separating at the wrist side. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We do have a couple areas that will need to be address before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. 1) There can be little to no gap between the ab and kidney ans stated in the CRL. This will need to be corrected. The most common solution is to either is to tighten the connecting straps. If you're using elastic, nylon webbing would be the alternative and suggested. For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor We also notice your ab rivets are out of alignment. They should be straight across from one another, and finally there's to be little to no gap between the kidney and ab. Another slight adjustment should do the trick. Reference photo 2) The drop box is to be aligned with the outer edge of the waist ammo belt. Securing the low connecting strap should help keep aligned. Reference photo. 3) Last but not least your sight in mounted backwards on your blaster. You'll need to rotate it 180 degrees. The ribs should be facing towards you not the scope. The rear trap stripes should amount to around 13, you seems to have 17 which makes the traps themselves look crowded or busy. We're recommending you repaint this area to match what you see in the reference helmet photo we've provided. Reference photo 2) Though very minor the right side shoulder bell gap is larger the left. a minor adjustment here should do the trick. 3) The back plate to kidney gap should be little to no gap. With your arms down it appears to be within spec but when you lift your arms up the gap grows which leads us to suspect you're using elastic to connect the two. We're suggesting you use nylon webbing or similar to help prevent this from happening. Reference photos 4) It appears a good majority of the cover strips on your limps are too long, they should stop at or before the edge of the armor. To make the armor look more uniform and for your own safety we're suggesting you trim them back a bit. Reference photo 5) The vertical Ab button has too much return edge and should be trimmed down a bit, As seen in the reference photo I've provided it should be Reference photo 6) Minor return edge on the wrist side of your forearms. Not a big deal but the there should be no return edge in this area. Reference photo 7) The cover strip on the rear of the shin should stop just below the upper return edge. In most applications I use sew on, for the ones I don't I make the attachments are double thick. On the bell strap fold over the end then install the snap. The shoulder strap, if using elastic should be double thick also. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Use the grove closest to the flat side, and flat side down away from the helmet.

Gathering and documenting as you're doing is perfect.

As much as I agree I'm not exactly sure how fast this will happen. At SWAT level in the Sandtrooper world there are a multitude of characters you can emulate however, this takes a lot of time, resources and a willingness of the command staff to accomplish, not to mention possibly more DOs to do the approving if it were to take off. At this point having all the ducks in a row in preparation for possible CRL expansion would be priority.
