Help ! Fan for helmet question
ukswrath replied to RLH2515's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
Some power supplies have a build in load requirement. Not enough load the battery shuts off to save battery life. The Anker Pro had a 50mAh draw requirement. Your battery pack may have the same issue. You'll need to contact the mfg to confirm. -
On it. Post them here?

Also you guys can used the vest photos from the build thread if you wish. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34011-ukswraths-first-order-heavy-gunner-flyye-vest-modification/ I can provide more detailed pictures obviously if needed

Hey Kyle, thank you for your EI application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations! . Great job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Since this section is used to enhance to overall look of your armor we have a few requests. Starting with the helmet. It appears your eye sockets could stand to have a bit more return edge removed. Not a huge deal but it would make the area a bit cleaner. Reference photo Hovi tip screen mesh is too fine. We're suggesting you replace them with mesh that's more accurate. There are several threads and build sections that discuss this and where to get the material. Reference photo Vcoder paint lines soft and not well defined. As you've done with your frown the Vcoder paint lines could also stand to be cleaned up. Reference photo Shoulder Bell gap to Chest and Back plates. Though very minor, strap adjustment may be needed to reduce the gap even further. There's probably not much you can do on the lower Bell edge however, it does look like you can tighten up the upper strap. Reference photo The upper edge of the waist belt should reside at or just below the lowest ab buttons. To do this may require re-positioning of the mounts. Reference photos Centurion Suggestions: None That's it. Excellent job on your build, hope to see you at Centurion.

TK - 22888 Requesting ANH STUNT EIB Status [AP] [714]
ukswrath replied to quick0817's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hey Richard, thank you for your patience and EIB application, let's get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations! . Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Since this section is used to enhance to overall look of your armor we have a few requests. 1) Since you've applied for Stunt the frown should extend past the last tooth as seen in the reference photo below. A little paint touch up should do the trick. Reference photo 2) Shoulder Bell gap to Chest and Back plates excessive. An adjustment needed to reduce the gap. That said, there may not be much you can do except replace them. The AP armor is a bit small for you unfortunately. RT-mod sells armor for larger troopers that my fit your build a bit better. Reference photo 2) Back plate gap. We noticed you have no straps holding your chest plate down which may also be effecting how the back plate is positioned, which appears to be a few inches off your back. Neither area is a deal breaker but attaching straps from the ab to the chest may have a two part effect, pulling down the chest plate resulting in pulling in on the back plate. Another option would be to shorten just the shoulder to chest plate straps. Reference photos 3) Left forearm to bicep gap greater than the right side. Not a huge deal but we suggest you make a minor adjustment here to even out both sides. 4) Vertical ab button plate too wide. The plate should reside inside the raised ab section as seen in the following reference photo. Reference photo 5) Ammo belt to cloth belt alignment. The 45 degree ammo belt corners should line up with the outer edge of the cloth belt. Not sure if your's is fixable being you don't have much material to work with. As Andrew and I say accuracy is always up to you the trooper. Though not a requirement, to make this area accurate you may have to replace the ammo belt. Reference photo 6) Sniper knee return edge could use a little trimming. Not a big deal but the return edge on the right side of the sniper could stand to be tapered back so that is follows the shin armor line a bit closer. Reference photo 7) Shin to thigh gap. You may want to consider trimming the shin shorter or raising the thighs if possible. This should help eliminate any unwanted pinching or armor breakage. Couldn't pass up commenting on the cute droid. Sad thing it doesn't appear to be afraid of you, unless it doesn't know your there lol Reference photo 8) We're suggesting you trim both lower thighs to match, giving the area a nice uniform look. 9) Minor back to kidney gap. There should be minimal gap here. A slight strap adjustment should fix this. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. 1) Drop box alignment. The CRL states: For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Prior to submitting for Centurion you'll need to fix this area. The most common solution is adhering the drop box strap to the waist belt material. Reference photo That's it. Excellent job, hope to see you at Centurion. -

ABS First order Kit,, whos the best out there,, advise needed
ukswrath replied to dark_jedi_ire's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
I have both the 850 ST and DT kits. Both are very sturdy but lacking in some areas when it comes to accuracy. By the time I write this maybe they have those questionable areas updated. That said I cannot comment on their FOTK, to be honest I didn't know they made one. As Q mentioned Anovos is currently the most accurate that is available, not to say there isn't others like Jimmi kit or a couple others. It's a sticky situation regarding this kit especially with the mouse watching. Hope this helps -
Very Nice!

HWT CRL Changes - Your input is requested
ukswrath replied to Daetrin's topic in Heavy Weapons Trooper
If there's no L2 or L3 requirements below basic than it's excepted at all levels with no additional changes -
"Lightly Scuffed (Battle Worn)" for L2/L3
ukswrath replied to Ragtooth's topic in Heavy Weapons Trooper
The ONLY reason the HWT has become so popular is because you have the option to go clean or dirty. If you like being dirty, weather your armor. If you like being clean, don't weather. That said, I've seen quite a few HWT out there with no weathering which is out of character and it doesn't look correct. I personally like being clean more than dirty so I haven't trooped as a HWT in quite a while because of that very fact. I encourage everyone to stay true to the costume theme. . -
HWT CRL Changes - Your input is requested
ukswrath replied to Daetrin's topic in Heavy Weapons Trooper
The TD wordage is such because in the game screen shots there are troopers with TDs and backpacks, both being worn at the same time however, not everyone can wear them both so it's optional. Pack is required regardless. Antenna is optional IF you have a current build thread showing it installed prior to the CRL being updated. That said, if you have a build thread that shows it installed during the CRL update your most likely to be grandfathered in however, this is ultimately up to your garrison's GML. It has been decided that canvas packs do not meet basic standards and leather or leather like is required. All the game screen shots show shiny packs. Mentioned before, if you have a build thread that shows you had canvas pouches during the CRL update your most likely to be grandfathered in however, this is ultimately up to your garrison's GML. L2 and L3 leather or leather like is manditory Hope this helps -

lol, working on a SWAG trade deal, blackmail -
I always recommend gloves go on last. Much easier to climb in and out of armor without them
