Alright, so as I was getting the body ready I saw another post where the guy with the rubies blaster added some rivets to help make it look more gooder. I also picked up some Allen screws for the muzzle as well. sent from my phone

So I want to drill a lower set of holes into the barrel and make some T tracks out of something. The T tracks that come on the blaster aren't very good. Someone else had posted modding one and tried using regular T track but it was just to big for the barrel and holes. I will start with drilling the additional holes and filling in with some plastic filler. A local garrison mate posted in a totally different context that someone used garage door gasket for T track. We I had a bunch left over from my GNK droid build so I figured why not. sent from my phone

Lighting struck twice, talking about a perfect fit, I scored twice because the large side is almost the same size as the larger lens side of the scope. I printed some scope pictures to place behind the plastic lens. Here is the scope next to the original. Good enough, here it is with a first coat of paint. sent from my phone

I picked up some brass screws at the local Ace Hardware and just popped them in. I just eye balled them. I have no idea if it is even accurate. sent from my phone

So it appears that this sleeve will fit into the front of the scope with no extra modifications. How cool! It was literally a shot in the dark. sent from my phone

So I will tackle giving this scope a minor upgrade. I bought this little telescope for 1.99 that will be the donor lenses for the front and back. sent from my phone

While I have the saw out. I might as well fix up the scope as well. sent from my phone

So I need to remove all of this stuff so I can start hacking this thing apart. A little hack saw action! Almost there... And it's gone. Now to pencil mark where this guy will go. sent from my phone

Here are the parts alone made for this gun. There is another thread that was created by the person who made these parts. He never finished the project on here which kind of stunk. sent from my phone

So, I was able to acquire two of those Exclusive Disney Parks E11 blasters that used to be sold at the parks but disappeared from the parks when they called the ban on blasters earlier in the year. Currently, blasters are being sold through their outlet stores in Florida called Disney's Character Warehouse. These are not the same stores or outlets that you find at your typical mall. The store is not located on Disney property but at an outlet mall close by. The blasters are roughly selling for $10 usd, obviously a great deal! For the record, I have a E11 Hyperfirm that I use when blasters are permitted but wanted something for fun with lights and sounds. As you may be already aware the Disney Blaster has both stun and regular sounds with matching led lights which makes for more fun and while I don't plan on leaving the hyperfirm behind I do plan on bringing this guy along to troops I know will be more kiddo focused. Here is the action plan / checklist. 1.) Take the blaster completely apart 2.) Mod the front and rear of the blaster to accept shapeway parts 3.) Drill additional holes in barrel and add details 4.) Fill and sand 5.) Work on adding details to the scope 6.) "Upgrade" T-track 7.) Add 3d printed hengstler I have laying around 8.) Texture paint and weather it 9.) Hope it will still go "pew pew" when I put it all back together again. I wasn't sure this was something I wanted to post up here cause it's kind of amateurish but figured why not. Maybe someone can get an idea from it and run with it. I know I did. Here goes nothing...

I wonder if you are gonna need to raise the kidney plate up so the 22mm notch lines up with the ab section as shown in the second picture? sent from my phone -

Hey Eric, here are the pictures that were posted on Jim's facebook group.

Eric, I am curious of your thoughts on the paint job on the life size Rebels TKs from the London Disney Store. I think it may be more of a paint job achievable at different levels of experience. I can post the pictures if you haven't seen them.

I can answer question A for you. http://www.imperialboots.com/product/rebltk/ For B and C, not sure. I also think Jim may be working on a ABS version of the helmet. I'm assuming that would mean multiple pieces and similar to putting together a OT TK so not sure how that would affect the "seamless" bottom look. Currently I believe the helmet is resin/roto cast(?).
