  1. How did you manage to get that belt in a pot of hot water? Looks most excellent by the way. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah, I've been reading up on that as well. I need to do the forearms big time cause the oval shape is killing my upper forearm so I may just do them all in one fell swoop! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  3. I need to see the sniper knee too. I just started to work it as well. I have the middle and the left side glued down. I think I am gonna (shhhhhhhh) throw a little heat to the right side!
  4. Dude looks awesome! I went through a ton of nylon strap to get minimal gap between the sections. Just out of curiosity how did you measure for the strapping? Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  5. Most excellent. I will swing by and check them out. I need to re do that guy this weekend. Yeah, no worries with pics when you get them up I'll be sure to take a peek! [emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  6. Ahahahahaaaa! That would be epic. Take pictures.[emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  7. Untinni! I think it's awesome. Jawas are the best, if you don't love Jawas then it's a sad sad day. I think the 501st is happy and lucky to have you in any capacity and I think you are spot on, only knowing you from the life you share here, a mischievous fun droid loving Jawa is a perfect fit even at 5 plus feet! Sorry about your experience on the roller coaster of near death but it seems like even when staring death in the face you managed to laugh and make the best of it. Wave your Krayt Clan flag high, you deserve it! Cheers! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks so much!! That looks like enough info for me! Thanks a million! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  9. Excellent info, thank you sir. Did you have a screw size number available? Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  10. Ugh, thanks for looking out. I will go back to the drawing board with those! Man, those caps are jammed on too. Maybe I'll drill out the screw machine heads, move the brackets over and use wood screws directly into the plastic tube? This way I won't have to figure out how to get those caps off. The whole TD thing had me at wits end. At one point I mounted the brackets upside down. I wanted to throw the thing out the window. [emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  11. Thank you Thank you. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah totally. The only stressful part of putting the helmet together was not having a second set of ears just in case. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah, I glued the top and bottom plates first. The only issue with this method that I experienced is the amount of straps I have left over that were a smidge to big. Honestly, it's probably double than I actually used. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  14. Ok... doing the "other" side of the snaps stunk. I blew through a bunch of them. Also, I blew through a lot of nylon strapping because I could have driven a bus through the gaps in the back!
  15. Man... I took a couple of days off of this cause a.) I was tired and b.) I was tired Anyway... glued the front thigh today. Spent hours trying to research cutting the AB/Kidney fit and the stupid notch and what it shouldn't look like but not what it should like... ugh!!! Anyway on another note I did complete the TD today. I did the best I could and I think it came out ok. The most important part it is 7.5 inches cap to cap. Whoop whoop! It took me forever to find this stuff locally. Ultimately, Ace hardware had it!! I know... I know... black screws... Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  16. I hear ya... I'm exhausted. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  17. I believe justjoseph has an open sales thread on split rivets. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  18. I thought I took them down to 2mm but I will have to double check. I can snap a picture tonight. Either way it seems like I should be safe at this point. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks Mark. I do appreciate you taking the time to swing by. I'll try to measure twice next time!
  20. I still have bicep sanding and trimming to do but here are the shoulder bells and biceps together. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  21. You're a wizard! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  22. They were quite wonky and not the same size and really thick and to short (sort of) and it was really late at night when I made them and... But seriously, thanks! I liked the super simple ones better. Mainly because they are a lot like me, super simple. [emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
  23. Party time, excellent! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk

  25. I actually feel honored that I got called out for something by Mark. I feel like it's a right of passage.
