The lenses are a little oversized by about 1/4 of an inch all way around, being a Hero TK I also have the apropriate single strip bubble lense replacement. I had the bubble lenses installed first, and matched the Velcro to the flat lenses. I use 3 tack points for each lens, 2 at top left and right, and 1 at bottom... I haven't noticed any negatives without the screen behind the teeth. I don't usually wear a balaclava, and don't think not having the screen there takes away from the over all visage. I still get compliments and the occasional hug, along with tons of photo ops lol

There's always a chance it may slip past...

Or find a solution where lenses aren't solid in place. Like I said, I use Velcro to hold lenses in place, allows air to flow between lense and bucket, which helps keep them from fogging up. Also reduces the needs for fans...

Depends if customs gets a hold of it... You may have to pay duty fees

Echo's fan kits are awesome, can find them here on the FISD
-
And these new TKs will continue to have the TK designation lol

I had fans for a number of years before installing them into my bucket. I don't use screen in back of the teeth, and use Velcro for keep my lenses in place. Lots of air flow throw the bucket without the fans. Last summer got pretty hot, so I installed them with Velcro, this way I can remove them, or put them in as I see fit. <br><br> I'm in Ontario Canada, so our summers aren't too bad... Last summer got up to the high 30s though...<br> As to a balaclava, it'll keep your head warmer than usual, so if you wear one, you may wish to look into fans too.

All the more to surprise you with lol

There's the before armour, and after armour process... None during

To add to Tim's point, whether you're the cook in the mess tent, or some corporal out in the field, a nurse, or even a doctor, everyone is a GI. I'm just thinking back to MASH here... They all wear the army greens.

Long wait times yes, uncertain about the SLD, or any other product aside from the OT TK, but I regards to the OT TK, there no missed deadlines yet... Not that I am aware of.

Armor Building Party? - Canadian Garrison

Wasn't aware of that detachment... -
After reading the various threads on this, and other professional reviews, I feel like this movie deserves more credit than what is being said....<br> Yes, I feel that certain characters deserve a little/lot more storyline, but then I ask, "am I being biased, or what was JJ trying to accomplish?"<br> Did I notice little minute details in characters, or was I surprised some went missing? Ummm... It was my first viewing, and I went into the movie with an open mind. I'm not looking for symantics or details, I'm not a professional who is going into the movie with an intent to write a review for the masses, I'm a fan of the franchise and of the movies. <br> Do I feel it was a good movie? No, I felt it was an awesome experience, and a fantastic movie. Would I watch it again? Heck, I'm looking forward to it being on DVD lol would I recommend it to others? Most definitely! <br> It takes place 30 yrs after EP VI. It leaves a number of questions in my mind, but I'm hoping those will be answered in the next two movies. It's only part 1 of 3. It seems a lot of people, critics included, want everything to be thrown at them within the first episode... If all questions are answered, why would we want to watch the next and then the next movie?<br> I just wanted to say it was an awesome movie, and hope others have awesome experiences as well. I grew up with EP IV watching it at a drive in when I was 7 so... I'm one of those old school people. Did I like the prequels? Not as much as the first 3 movies. Yes they added backstory and we're interesting, but EP IV to vi are awesome in their own right. Will anything else compare to those three? Probably not, but EP VII is a close runner up, a lot closer than the prequels could ever hope for.

If your plans are to join the 501st with your first build, I'd suggest looking up these accepted TK costumes: http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL As you'll see, Magma Troopers are not listed... And would not be accepted into the 501st. -
...so, I got my Stanley box today.
TK 2759 replied to Revyl's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Not sure about the Stanley, but I've seen some... Search the threads for 50 gal, or bin. I think that'll help answer some questions.i know the few threads I have seen have quite a few pictures to help with what you are asking, in regards to padding. As to the removal of the logo, the threads are for a different maker of the 50 gal tool box, so this wasn't an issue from what I had read...<br><br><br> Sorry I could not be more helpful, but I hope to helps a little.<br><br> Ok did some searching for you, look here:<br><br> <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33852-stanley-box-customization/?hl=stanley'>http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33852-stanley-box-customization/?hl=stanley</a> -
As far as I'm aware, ANOVOS is trying to fill about 100+ orders for TK OT stunt armour alone, never mind the other purchase orders that may have come in as those were piling up. Being that they opened new ground, they got bogged down with Star Wars orders, it's going to take some time, be patient. They are still on time, winter isn't over, and has only just begun... People were aware of the huge wait time, when they made their purchase. Why complain about it now? ANOVOS will make do on their promise, I have faith in them, and so did you when you made your purchase.

TFA viewings. Opinions on the movie? (Spoiler zone)

3D was awesome! You'll enjoy it immensely! My wife and I can't stop talking about it, and we were in the process of watching the other six movies (in the order that they were released) before and after seeing EP VII. -
I've had my pair of TK boots for about 5 yrs now... Trooped in and all, never needed to polish once so far ... No scratches and really comfortable. I recommend them highly.

THX isn't in Cineplex theatres... I missed that too, along with the rumble of the floor... -
In regards to costume designations, I think the powers that be will keep OT TKs as TK and FO TKs as FN for costume designations... So if you own both an OT and a FO trooper you could pick and choose from FN and TK when you wore those specified costumes...

Somehow I doubt we are going to restructure everything... We have something good going here and it works... Doesn't need to be fixed and re arranged, and then end up with more bugs than we have, if there are any.
-
I thought this was something that the LCO and council members decide? Other than that, we can only speculate from what I've been reading here...
-
Wait for the next movie?

Awesome movie! Would I watch it again? Many times over lol a few questions at the end, and makes you want to wait for the next movie. Enjoyable and way better than animated clones in the prequels... Live actors make a huge difference!
