  1. That is actually really awesome. I might scrap my previous plans and try this out. Thank you so much for sharing!
  2. Thank you! I'm pretty sure I will be getting the fans, at least just to have them for those "oh my god I need a fan NOW" moments and now apparently I need to look at the environmental sound amplifiers.
  3. I tend to run on the cooler side and I'm used to wearing motorcycle helmets, from the DOT approved full coverage to the skull caps and I have never really had a problem. But...again, like you said, I've just got to put the thing on and do some chores around the house to see how things go.
  4. And here I thought this might be one of my easier questions about building my armor... Thank you all.
  5. I'm going to keep this trick my mind. Does it polish off easily or does it leave a film or anything?
  6. I'm trying to picture the velcro holding in the lenses. Are they over-sized or are you using some seriously thin velcro strips? I like the idea of not putting the screen on the teeth, are there any negatives to that that you have noticed? I might be jumping the gun. I should probably have waited until I actually got the bucket in my hands. I can't help it though, I am far too excited.
  7. I saw them. I was thinking if anything I am going with them.
  8. Thanks for your input Brian. I might just do a wait and see before making any decisions.
  9. Ouch! I'm glad to hear he's ok. That would be a little scary. I've seen that the balaclava is a little popular. I might need to look into that.
  10. So this may be a really stupid question but how major is having a fan in your helmet? I'm awaiting an armor order and trying to get all the little bits ready. Also, I see everyone uses the little enclosed ones. Are there any concerns with long hair getting in one?
