  1. A good way to see the differences is to look at the CRLs http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL
  2. Amazing, and I'm jealous. Pinning because this thread is definitive. Hmmm...what it would it take to convince you to make a second?
  3. LMK if you find it.
  4. Totally cool. Man, I'm in soooo much trouble with the wife now. Really wish my kids were in to SW, so I can say I'm buying this stuff for them...
  5. yeah, one could say they have the inside track...
  6. Wouldn't it be great if the clips were truly functional?
  7. The bottom looks flat on the screen caps, but a lazy W on your diagram. Am I missing something? BTW, this is a VERY COOL THREAD
  8. Done. Not sure why it was in 501st only anyway. 501st only TFA is just for people doing build threads that they don't want the public to see.
  9. FWIW, mine has not yet arrived, no emails, no status
  10. I've seen a helmet and the start of armor so it's coming for sure. As noted, a good reason to visit our brothers on SpecOps.
  11. UKG leads the way again! As a tall thinner guy I have a hard time getting onesies to fit, so I think I'll wait on your mate, Billy.
  12. Well if Billy says it is true then this is good enough for me.
  13. The clone undersuit doesn't look quite right either, so...take it for what you will.
  14. It's personal preference. Some people love velcro, I prefer snaps. Why? Because it allows me to quickly snap in/out of my kit in moments and I don't have worry about re-adjusting it every time I put it on/off. The only place I like velcro is the back of my shins.
  15. Thanks - we're getting closer to premier so really want my vest done by then.
  16. It is the helmet and belt, but also to take in to account you can have the grapling hook. Also, at the time, we noted the hand guards were different too, and the Falcon/Han guy is the only one with an MG-34. Just a way to dial things up as you move up the accuracy scale. Hero helmets are not that common.
  17. Until such time as someone completes this and we move it to its own thread, I put it in ROTJ as it's based on the ROTJ trooper...
  18. Thanks - this is my belief too.
  19. That would still leave 2 holes on the belt. I can see why ANOVOS did it though - in the movie the only person who ever holstered an E-11 was Han, and he needed the support. For casual fans, they may elect to holster their side arm a lot. Otherwise we could always go back and make the number of rivets be an EI only requirement, and thus not affect 501st acceptance.
  20. Two cents: $.01 -> Yes, the appropriate thing would be to contact ANOVOS & let them know before they make 2000 of them. $.01 -> Even if they don't move them, it's not a hard issue to re-do compared to other EI type changes. Thus, I don't think it is much to worry about. Also, if ANOVOS gets feedback that tons of people are moving it, they will probably change. ---- $.02
  21. What did you do for the harness? I looked everywhere for a Flyye FY-VT-C011-BK but can't find them in stock. I find the O/D ones on Ebay though...but then you need to do a good dye job...
  22. Yeah, esp. when a completed TD goes for what - $80 or so. Man, I shoulda bought a set at $350 when I had a chance...
