Im sure if you search cheap stormtrooper cosplay or something to that effect you could find it, and then just follow the steps and paint to your liking.

Just search ironmaided on the rpf, hes located in the Philippines as well. And if I remember correctly it was around 700 after shipping but its been a while and Ive bought a bunch of costuming stuff since then so I don't exactly remember

Yes Vader would be the most expensive and next would be whichever trooper has the most greeblies and paint to add on. And while Boba might not be Imperial just for perspective he takes around $2500 to $4000 to assemble depending on which version you go with and how much you do yourself.

Cinematography doesnt feel like the othwr 6 at all, story wasnt great, music wasnt John Williams' best, and characterization of Rey was weird, yet most of the acting was solid and costume design was top notch<br><br> Id have to say it has some interesting moments but definetley my least favorite star wars film

I totally understand using the actual on screen costumes for the CRL's but also agree it would be nice to have an "idealized" trooper, like you were saying a realistic one, with the ab buttons attached and shoulder bridges attached and so forth.

I've already posted a similar topic on the rpf, to no avail, and have already been in contact with the artsee1 website artist. Nobody seems to make a full body latex suit in the vein of the superman flyby suit. I got some snaps on my phone from the trailer, but I wonder if anyone has anything better yet concerning the ep7 stormtrooper armor.

Wow thanks all for saving me blowing that much money. I did go to the RPF and have purchased a foam Iron Patriot(even though I dont like Iron man 3 the patriot is the best looking armor IMO) Im glad I didnt make that mistake. Whew

And maybe its just me by myself on this, but Im kinda still hoping the TK's are the 'bad guys' haha I dont know, I dont really want them to fight with the Jedi/Rebellion/New Republic, but against. They have a sinister look.

When did the Empire fall though? The expanded universe is now not canon, and I dont believe it happened like the end of Robot Chicken where the rules were to kill the Emporer and destroy the death star. The Empire would have taken quite the blow, but it could have survived. America didnt cease to exist whenever a president was killed. So the Empire has continued to go on, and I expect(but this is ONLY speculation) that Empire we see in EpVII is like the Remnant of the old expanded universe, and possibly fighting to regain its former glory days.

So I made a dumb mistake and purchased an ESB holster and not an ANH one, and I'm going for the ANH stunt TK. To the experts out there if I cut the straps and replace them with brown faux leather ones will that suffice or should I see if someone will trade me?

Yeah whichever it looks closer to based on what you see on the 501st CRLs is what you should aim for to save the most time and work

I believe that the animation style couldve gone for a more realistic look, and I dont think it would have turned off disneys main fanbase(kids) to the show

another reason I have a problem with these is that the helmets come off as parodical of the real thing moe than tributes to the Ralph McQuarrie concepts

I may not like the series, but Im not against them making it, especially if it creates more love for the saga, nor will I abandon my project armor to get in the 501st, I just feel animation derived suits should not be in the Legion. Everyone has their own opinions

Its mostly the stigma. This guy had a disagreement over what the original contract was, and whether or not he owned the stormtrooper or Lucas did, there was a big legal battle, and I guess the copyright law is different in the UK so he can sell his armor over there but not here I believe.
