  1. There is a soundboard on StarWars.com that has a stormtrooper board in it. I recently found that, but didn't get to listen to it because I was at work, and the noise levels were to high, but that might yield something useful. Oh, and congrats on your impending approval!!
  2. That last suggestion is probably the easiest! (I have two helmets/belts coming so I can use my ANH for Stunt/Hero - need to look at hand guards too though. LoL)
  3. Wow... I know this thread is "older" news, but as I am building a shiny ANH TK, I have been focusing my research on that and the E-11. Since a TD is on my "one-day" list, and because Brian ^ has been talking up building a T-21 of late, I came by for a quick look-see at the build. Beautiful work, Terry! Absolutely will be on my followed thread list for whenever I decide to tackle a T-21. Love everything about this build. Thanks for sharing!!
  4. I am continually amazed at the number of ways in which we see the "same" thing being done here at the FISD. Very interesting project! Looking good to me so far.
  5. I have it on good authority that there will be another EI submission very soon. I can personally assure you that when I finally am done building the armor in the box(es) that should be shipping in the next couple of weeks, I will be doing so! How are things?
  6. Very excited to see the newsletter! Just yesterday I was thinking "hmmmm... There hasn't been a newsletter in awhile, Oh, yeah... Just about a month - should be a new one soon!" Love the t-shirt design. Love it, love it, love it!! As always though, great job on the newsletter. Highly informative!
  7. Sounds very interesting, Haui! Can't wait for pics/videos!! Good luck!
  8. Vern, nice write-up!! Brandon... LoL, nice write-up!!
  9. Looking really good! Love the paint job - well done!
  10. LoL... Dirty Rebel Scum sympathizers...
  11. I'm clearly not an expert, and what I say won't impact anything at all here, but it looks to me like good fixes there Josh! Good luck with your approval!
  12. So uh..... Did someone go to Radio Shack on the way home yesterday?
  13. You'd be best served by reviewing the CRLs for each one. Off the top of my head, between ANH and ESB, I believe the differences are holster attachment, hand guards, and frown painting. There may be more that I just don't realize, as my research has all been geared towards ANH Centurion standards. ROTJ has no holster, ESB hand guards, similar painting on the helmet (although rank stripes are increased), rubber trim around the body pieces, different arrangement of the ab buttons, no buttons on the belt, and all white boots. As I said, I may be omitting a lot, but off the top of my head, that's the bulk of it - outside of differences in the weaponry.
  14. You've got to admit though, that the E-11 with the counter facing the wrong way would be a one of a kind at any troop!
  15. Nice looking kit, to be sure!! Looks like you're off to a great start with it, too!
  16. Thanks for weighing in Soren. I definitely think that these are a very good option, but the elastic is not accurate so I was unsure about how that would be interpreted for Centurion.
  17. Looking good, Mickael!!
  18. Here you go. A Tutorial of sorts, by one of the biggest "dye your boots" proponents within the FISD: SorenM. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24775-painting-my-black-chelsea-boots-white/page-3?hl=%2Bsorenm#entry320984
  19. Granted, I'm not an expert but as it has already been pointed out, the elastic is not spot-on but they appear to be a good match. I'd consider TK Boots, as Mike suggested, and overall, I agree with Brandon... If nothing else is available though, those look pretty good. Here is the CRL listing on boots: For 501st approval: •Boots are above ankle height and made of white leather or leather-like material. •Small U-shaped elastic sections on both sides of the ankle. •Flat sole with a short heel. •No buckles or laces. •Jodhpur/ Chelsea-type boots or an equivalent style is acceptable. ◦Elvis or Mariachi boots are not allowed. For level two certification (if applicable): For level three certification (if applicable): •There shall be no seam on the front of the boot.
  20. Von Sydow is definitely an eyebrow raiser.
  21. Intriguing... Interesting to see on which side of the force everyone lands when we learn more about who is who! Also, I really hope that Andy Serkis is a character, and not just a voice... I'd prefer to think that there will be very few characters needing only voices in the movie(s).
  22. Very cool... We'll definitely be watching closely! I will, anyway. LoL
  23. LoL... We have several boxes of crayons in the house - even though Kellan is not old enough for them yet.
  24. Thank you, good man!! I Still have one more "major" project to accomplish/figure out for the scope but if I don't get to that, it could be completed today, and aside from that project nagging in the back of my mind, I'd be happy with it. But man, that nagging would just make me crazy... LoL. I guess I better figure out that project
