  1. Okay added the wires and made some additional weathering.....the inner barrel is stil WIP...but will probably be added...
  2. damn what is wrong with this posting system...just quoted your post Mathias, and nothing comes up.... Well thanks :-) The wires will be added later today, and more weathering will be done, plus I will take Pictures in full daylight as the ligting on the posted photos do not lend themselves to showing the weathering as it is.....
  3. Good point Vern...just a little puzzled as to how to get it in there...it is assembled like a cue-stick...and the opening at the muzzle is actually not that big...hmm..need to figure that one out..:-)...
  4. Well I am sorry that you think so :-), Mathias gave the exact reason why I did not post the name. In addition to that I fully agree that FISD is the forum where we share INFO, and I honestly think that I always share my knowledge...but when I first started here at FISD, so few few months ago, I was told and given the general impression that the name of the brand was not something you just passed around..... but your point has been noted :-)
  5. Allrighty then..did some "pimping" and weathering on my DLT-19... Contemplating selling it, and then buy a kit version, so that I can make a number of little details, like the ones I made with my E-11.... I drilled out the hole for sling attachment, the cocking handle and the rear side of the screws on the pistolgrip. I also used varnish on the pistolgrip and the buttstock ( which was given a slight coat of dark brown ink) I might make additional weathering.... Any opinions and feedback welcome as always
  6. I will post pics of my weathered one tonight....:-)..
  7. I kno I know mate, but I will not pass it all around..:-)
  8. You are most welcome!..:-)...they are both comfy and very sturdy, but as with all Goodyear welted shoes they will be a little stiff in the beginning....but they last forever!..:-)
  9. The most accurate is Loake 290, which is very similar to the Herring (Loake and others make Herring shoes). Those are Chelsea boots, Jodphurs is sometimes used for describing a Chelsea, but that is incorrect. A jodphur normally does not have the elastic band, but a girdle and a buckle instead... The originals name is somewhat of a semi secret, so I am not gonna tell you...sorry :-) TK boots look the part, but they are White leather and not painted, which makes them less accurate than for instance the Loakes. I would any day of the week choose a pair of Loakes..for all the reasons listed in my thread....I like high quality footwear:-)
  10. Man..Morten the difference is huuuuge......:-).. Yeah you need a new one.... I just finished weathering my DLT...came out pretty nice...will post some pics tomorrow......:-)
  11. You said it (as always) Mathias....:-)
  12. Nope too wide elatic and too pointy as well... I would try and go for the ones I have listed in a thread, they can be found used for a reasonable price as well. You can alos try Bass Amsterdam, but they will not be accepted for Centurion....
  13. Hmmm.....not really sure, but doubt it...how about asking the DO in a PM?:-)..
  14. Agreed!...and so have I..:-)...
  15. It was a really good time:-)..... Thanks about the DLT...it is a DoopyDoos mk3...:-)
