  1. Thanx mate:-)
  2. Well I am sorry that you think so :-), Mathias gave the exact reason why I did not post the name. In addition to that I fully agree that FISD is the forum where we share INFO, and I honestly think that I always share my knowledge...but when I first started here at FISD, so few few months ago, I was told and given the general impression that the name of the brand was not something you just passed around..... but your point has been noted :-)
  3. Allrighty then..did some "pimping" and weathering on my DLT-19... Contemplating selling it, and then buy a kit version, so that I can make a number of little details, like the ones I made with my E-11.... I drilled out the hole for sling attachment, the cocking handle and the rear side of the screws on the pistolgrip. I also used varnish on the pistolgrip and the buttstock ( which was given a slight coat of dark brown ink) I might make additional weathering.... Any opinions and feedback welcome as always
  4. I will post pics of my weathered one tonight....:-)..
  5. I kno I know mate, but I will not pass it all around..:-)
  6. You are most welcome!..:-)...they are both comfy and very sturdy, but as with all Goodyear welted shoes they will be a little stiff in the beginning....but they last forever!..:-)
  7. The most accurate is Loake 290, which is very similar to the Herring (Loake and others make Herring shoes). Those are Chelsea boots, Jodphurs is sometimes used for describing a Chelsea, but that is incorrect. A jodphur normally does not have the elastic band, but a girdle and a buckle instead... The originals name is somewhat of a semi secret, so I am not gonna tell you...sorry :-) TK boots look the part, but they are White leather and not painted, which makes them less accurate than for instance the Loakes. I would any day of the week choose a pair of Loakes..for all the reasons listed in my thread....I like high quality footwear:-)
  8. Nope..and they held up fine anyway.....:-)
  9. Man..Morten the difference is huuuuge......:-).. Yeah you need a new one.... I just finished weathering my DLT...came out pretty nice...will post some pics tomorrow......:-)
  10. You said it (as always) Mathias....:-)
  11. Nope too wide elatic and too pointy as well... I would try and go for the ones I have listed in a thread, they can be found used for a reasonable price as well. You can alos try Bass Amsterdam, but they will not be accepted for Centurion....
  12. Hmmm.....not really sure, but doubt it...how about asking the DO in a PM?:-)..
  13. Agreed!...and so have I..:-)...
  14. They should be able to be ok'd all the way...:-)
  15. He is a GREAT guy and his armour is phenomenal......mine looks absolutely fantastic...a piece of art!....:-
  16. Agreed David....minor things less is more with this one.....the buttstock and pistolgrip, brownish ink and varnish, and then a little metal weathering....
  17. He he....getting there, getting there.....:-)
  18. Cheers mate!...and notice the dramatically reduced sidegap?....:-)
  19. In use on my first official troop with Nordic Garrison(Clone Wars season 5 bluray release)..in Esbjerg Denmark Along with, amongst others my son the Jawa, and fellow Stormtrooper TK-7995...
  20. Right you are DAVID ( see I can get it right:-))... I think the t-tracks can be moved...but that is not a dealbreaker if you ask me....but wire has to be added as well as new paint, varnish and some light weathering......:-)...
  21. bad luck..but good thing that you could fix it:-)...Yeah it is really nice..and if you could come up with an idea how to put in sound and lights...it will be perfect!...:-)...
  22. Sooo sorry mate!..I really am:-(... I' ll get my s**** together and remember...it is quite rude using the wrong name, pls forgive me! :-)
