Where did you get the flex tubing for this?

Thanks. It was a fun build. Mostly just have it for display now. But i have been thinking of designing some different sabers to fit PVC Pipe. Heres a photo of the 3d design and a video for for other people to check out.

It might be easier to start a new one. Lots of good information could be consolidated and start out fresh.

you could power 12v fans with a 5v power bank but you're not going to get very good results and possible damage the blowers over time. The best way to think of voltage as amount of force you're putting on something. Too much and you will break it not enough and it won't work right. there is voltage regulators you can get but the best option would be to just to find matching voltage fans. This forum has lots of information on building USB Fans. If you need a little more one on one help shoot me a PM on facebook. ill be more then willing to help you out. Yes that should work. On a 2 fan system you would get about 6hours of run time give or take.

Yeah mine are resin as well. Just used 3d printed ones to make the model. Although i think 3d printed would hold up just as good as resin if printed right. I got some other cool Unique stuff on my website if your interested. Should be linked below.

Im not going to be building this costume but it peaked my interests. I started with a respirator. Still needs a little work but I will be doing resin copies if you are interested. Here is a photo of my frist copy from last night.

Awesome and Great project. I might have to look into this for my son. Just throwing it out there. Walt's Trooper Factory makes kids TK helmets that are pretty nice. Overall i think this would be a fun project but Im not to fond of the Bondo and sanding part haha.

My USB fans off Ebay they are rated for 1amp but I personally use a 2amp power bank and have yet to have any issues. 2amp should be fine with the fans. But not all electronis will be the same. The hearing aid systems/mic tip amp you have to use the 1amp. Lucky with that system they will automatically just turn off after 30sec with a 2amp power bank.

Yeah it said his skyone cannot receive any new messages. I just been kind of looking around online for them. But mine is doing the same thing. I also just keeps repeating it self. Not sure on that. I also cant get it to play anything until i run my Neg speaker wire across the board. Figure that one out.

So im having a issue with this setup. Basically my audio files wont play until i take the ground of my speaker wire and run it over the WT5001M03-28P module. The other problem is that when they do play they just repeat. any ideas? heres a youtube of whats going on.

Any Updates on this? Also would you happen to have the Arduino coding and Audio fonts?

Did you build the fan setup yourself or purchase it? There could be a couple reasons this is happening. I think first start with the power source if the setup uses a USB end try plugging it into a USB port and see what happens. If the fans turn on then its the power source if the fans do not then there could be a issue with the wiring. Do you have a photos of the setup?
