good ole trial and error. or failing that a rool of white gaffa tape.. I tore my thighs apart again and they feel alot better now. are you using a strap straight from your ab to the thighs or are you using a garter system. I found the garter to work a little better but everyone has an opinion. Glad you had fun cant wait to see some pics!

the T-shirt material and crazy glue works well here as well. those pesky return edges flex a little everytime you pick up your armor maybe if this continues reinforce all your return edges. pain in the butt, but worth considering, maybe.

I know cover strips sizes are argueable, but from what I have seen arms are around 15mm and leg fronts 20mm backs 25mm, but can be adjusted to fit your frame. yeah cover strips should be flush with the sides if the ridges or as close as possible. as for the biceps if it was me I would trim from the top as that is covered by your shoulder bells ans not as easily seen but thats just me. pretty sure you can take up more of the return on the bottom, not sure if there is a measurement for how much return edge is required.

check here for color charts http://www.whitearmo..._ paint colors. when it says Model Masters, that is Testor's "high end" paint, Comes in a different bottle Black is 1597. any semi gloss black will arguably work for the most part. its the Blue and Grey that will be the most important.

Stay away from Starfortress, hes based in the Philippines, way I understand it is there was some problems here in the States, with him and his questionable practices. also stay away from Ebay because you dont always get what you think you might be getting you might want to look here, http://www.whitearmo...personal-items/, and here for new kits http://www.whitearmo...e-to-find-them/. there is some good stuff out there, and there is some bad stuff out there. buying used armor is great but you may have to make lots of modifications to make it fit you right. take your time look around, and we will do all we can to answer any questions you may have. also feel free to PM me if you ever need anything I will do my best to point you in the right direction.

I can see how the trimming will help, I think im going to go ahead and make some cuts. nothing I cant fix with a little imagination. I have managed to refit the thighs so they come up more that gave a lot of clearance but i want to make the backs just a little more uniform in thickness.

couple of the guys around here have them. its really handy, and with the handle it rolls around like a big suitcase with ease. I found it in the hardware section of home depot with the tool boxes not in the storage tub section, i drove all over town looking for it in the wrong place lol.

ok so kind if trim it down in a "V: shape? \___/? down to the cover strip. and on the thighs. a trimmed in curve?

I have gotten the thighs to come up a little more, was wondering about triming the backs of the thighs, about how much should I be triming off of the thighs and shins?

yeah. the shins are fully closed lol im workig on that engineering problem right now really bad when I cant see back there. its worst at the top where the cover strip dosent go high enough. I have a few ideas but gonna be some trial and error to get it just right. my wife is taking the pics, so Im trying to educate her has to how it is supposed to look at the same time, shes getting pretty good but not there just yet. I have her look at my sideshow tk figure and here for reference lol my camera batteries died before i could shoot better pics and I didnt want to run to the store at 10pm for new ones.

another test fitting. ab still needs to come up a little I think thighs still need to come up a tad more. still working on bell strapping and new TD clips are on the way. these are temporary Mathias.
