  1. Welcome to the FISD Mike! I'd look into the RT-Mod first before going the FX route...other than that I have seen guys much bgger than you fit into TE armor
  2. Thanks everyone, you all have definately made my B-Day that much sweeter...check out what my girl got me
  3. That sucks Craig! There has to be a way where you set your profile up as "Classified"
  4. cool thanks brother, I need it for my clone armor

  6. I have no clue, I haven't done it yet, but I'm sure they will last as long as you take good care of them...If I'm not mistaken, I think Daetrin has a pair of re-worked TK boots
  7. yeah, if you want some spot on TK boots made from leather they are going to be priced at least 150.00 +, and I've herd quotes of $250.00 before even if you buy some good quality brown leather boots and re-work them, it will cost you at least $100.00 for the price of the boots and the cost of white dye and polish...not to mention the time it will take you to do them up right ...I'd like to get a pair of these and re-work them...check them out... http://shop.valleycountry.com.au/catalogue...y42/product1021
  8. you can always paint it silver and then put tooth paste on the areas that you want to show weathering, wait for the paint to dry and then scrub those area's off with soap and water
  9. Thanks everyone! I don't know what to say, how un-expected, ussually people don't notice when its someones birthday , thanks again everyone for making my B-Day that much better
  10. wow, that brought a smile to my face
  11. not at all, in the end you have to do what works right for you, the way I did mine was just my own solution to the FX thighs , I'm sure your idea will work out just fine as long as you don't over heat the plastic
  12. Great! glad to help out Graham
  13. Justin's technigue is also very effective, but I was too lazy to do it myself
  14. well, the first thing I did was put a ample amount of velcro on the back of the thigh for measuring purposes..then I squeezed them onto the bottom of my thigh, and then mrked it in the back both at the botom and the top of the thigh...I then slid the thighs off and took the velcro off and drew a line from the bottom mark to the top mark, then I glues them together with ABS glue, here is a pic of my thighs, as you can see they do not have the square FX look anymore, I think that it is crucial to fix the thighs on the FX in order for it to look at least better
  15. I took about 1" off the bottom of my FX bells a while back, I didn't try to re-shape them with a heat gun, I just went ahead and baught myself new armor

  19. You can just take an old sock dip it in silver paint and slide it and dab it on the areas that you would think would get dingged up more than others, such as the corners and such its easy his is a pic of my old kenner blaster... My RC Pistol done in a similar fashion some more pics...

    energy sinks

drop boxes, but it does support the theory that the TK's didn't actually "die", the armor absorbed the blast, but the body was knocked out from the blast
  23. I agree with Terrell, we don't all have the figures of the original TK's
  24. Happy thanksgiving erveryone!
  25. I didn't show you all my weapon...
