  1. Is it ANOVOS stuff?
  2. Superb! This is perfect. Do you mind if i ask you how you have done the gunmetal weathering on your blaster?
  3. To me, the helmet feels more like a Hero bucket with a different paint scheme for the frown and stickers rather than a proper ROTJ helmet. The rest is a ROTJ armor. The visual looks incredibly real though! This is impressive.
  4. I confirm these visuals. New Incinerator troopers, Stormtroopers with tactical vest, Sergeant trooper with Chrome damage (appears to be a woman), new Snowtroopers... A lot is coming for sure!
  5. Someone on the French 501st Board just posted this and it made my day: Watch out for the Ducktroopers!
  6. It's been a while since we've seen a Movie-FX . Your armor is looking really good. I'm personally fine with the overlapping on your right side, i am more bothered by the snap positioning on this side which should be around 10mm far from the edge. Also, something i think is worth mentionning is your hengstler is set extremely high on your blaster. It might be good to lower it if you can:
  7. Looking great Felix! Congratulations. I'll be honest with you, i had doubts you would ever finish this build. But you managed and i'm so glad i was wrong .
  8. I doubt i'd be the White Spirit. Perhaps the rubbing with your undersuit?
  9. Tough love with an Endor tree?
  10. Left it is. You got it right .
  11. Yes, this very low price is only for the first Tiers of customers, it will then increase. And it could be a good way for RS to step into the North-american market.
  12. ANOVOS seems to have a pretty high accuracy level goal with their products so i wouldn't be surprised if they indeed had contacted RS to work together on this one. Well, at least i hope they did and they aren't recasting without any permission... We will have to wait for on of the guys from RS to tell us.
  13. Wrong! You assembled two inner halves together . Try again .
  14. A bit difficult to say on your picture. A front picture would be more helpful, but i would say: 3 = Inner Right thigh 4 = Inner Left thigh 1 = Outer Right thigh 2 = Outer Left thigh Hopefully this picture will help you. You can see how the inner half has a specific double curve to fit with the cod which is the easiest way to identify it: (The thigh facing front is the left thigh, the one facing back and with the ammo belt is the right thigh)
  15. ANOVOS is known to only be a retailer. I wonder if RS isn't working with them on this prototype, making few alteration to their parts to make it more idealized? Because when i looked at the armor lot of parts felt very RS to me (especially the shins).
  16. If the Hasbro is accurate enough to be approved with, this is one will easily do the job once converted. Yes many details are a bit off, yet nothing major and i'm pretty confident you can even be Centurion approved with it.
  17. New blaster finished. Quite psyched about this one!

  18. I agree with you, that's why i found that interesting. I wonder if the neckseal they based their work upon was part of the original suit, or something added later on by the suit's owner? Or perhaps, rubber neck seals were done only for Luke and Han while other Heros and Stunts had fabric neck seal? ------------
  19. Well, it is just the eFX armor. Nothing new under the sun... Edit: The part about the neckseal was actually interesting. Even though i don't know how reliable this information is.
  20. Very nice looking helmet. Honestly, i'm liking your ears like that, feels very accurate. However, i don't know if that kind of chin strap will be something viable once the arm armor parts and the gloves on. I find that snapping my chin strap is hard enough like that, i can't even imagine feeding the strap through two d-rings... And very good job with those side rivets, their positioning is spot on.
  21. Fantastic! It's like a slap in the face how beautiful it is. I really love the way you cut the magazine, very short. I often feel like most people doing that leave too much of the magazine when you compare it to what you mostly see on the film. I like the mention "Built Using All Authentic Parts" on the plaque, seems deserved regarding your blaster.
  22. Good strapping, this is how it should be done.
  23. What you can do is put brackets on your armor, make the elastic loops, but instead of sewing them close, put a male snap at one end and a female snap at the other. This way you will combine the pros of both methods .
  24. Yeah, i've seen it before. Credit for this goes to Darth Voorhees . However, with this method i don't know if the belt will be wide enough to hide all the cuts if the belt is set at the right height on the abdominal plate. But it definitely seems better than just "cutting it".
  25. Yes, i agree it might have some bad side effects too. But I think it can be a nice feature to inquire about the staff's opinion on a matter or the DO about a specific building detail. Obviously we would have to rely on people's courtesy not to flood/spam someone with it.
